Re: 2020/1/15: Nintendo Switch: Snow Moto Racing Freedom, Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King

They're a bit hidden thanks to the somewhat weak menu design of this collection. Going off my memory of the game select screen from a month ago, there are button icons spread across the bottom of the screen explaining what each menu button does and one of those says "Bonus Games". Hitting ...

Re: 2020/1/15: Nintendo Switch: Snow Moto Racing Freedom, Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King

I bought the PS4 version of the Disney collection and feel like it's fine. Pretty limited scope, but it's well put together for the most part for what it is. One thing I'd like to say if someone stumbles across what I've read, are concerns of a large mandatory patch online. Saw claims at Neogaf befo...

Be aware that the steps to revert to the English menu afterwards will be in Japanese.

Re: Afterburner!

Arcade original does it this way. https://www.arcade-museum.com/images/118/1181241628107.png Grammatically/technically, the aircraft jet engine component that injects raw jet fuel into the jet nozzle exhaust of a military jet engine to increase thrust is spelled as a single word. But it's a pretty l...

Re: 2020/1/10: Turbografx-16: After Burner II (Japan), Dungeon Master: Theron's Quest (CD)

Always been an Afterburner fan, but alas have never found them to be the most fun. It was always about the spectacle rather than the gameplay that was a bit too hectic for its own good. And we all know it's the gameplay that brings us back time after time. It's a beauty though in arcade form with th...

Re: PS4 and Xbox One remote play

Thanks guys. Sounds like the results won't be worth it. I still might run a couple of ethernet cables since my wifi connection from my PC is a bit spotty and I have an older Xbox 360 without wifi in the other room, so the effort won't be wasted even if I get the poor results I anticipate. I'm surpri...

PS4 and Xbox One remote play

Anyone have any experience here? Since it would be advantageous for my setup, I've been messing around with the PC and Playstation TV options for streaming PS4 games and found them pretty disappointing via wifi through my router. Picture is too dark, frame rate isn't entirely smooth, and there's com...

Re: PS3 vs PS4

Happened to open that link again and noticed a real glaring error. It says that "Gamers could previously download PS2 classics and save game to the PS3 drive, but Sony closed the PS3 store in 2018". That is of course not at all accurate in regard to the Playstation Store's status. Not sure...

Re: PS3 vs PS4

I do see one error with that site. Sony never patched out PS2 backwards compatibility on BC 80 gig models. It would've been big news, likely bigger than the removal of Other OS was, had Sony done that. Maybe the site was confused when BC 80 GB models got replaced with 80 GB non-PS2 compatible system...

Re: Rampart (Genesis)

The arcade game used a track-ball, which never translates perfectly to a modern analog stick on a classic arcade compilation. http://arcadegamemachines.biz/en/image/Dedicated_original_Atari_Rampart_Arcade_Machine_01_xssx.jpg Controls such as track-balls are the main issue with emulating both the ori...
