Re: I love the Sega Saturn

I feel a little bad about burning all these games but I guess there's no way to support the original developers either.. I wouldn’t feel bad, the original developers get the same whether you burn them or spend £100’s on eBay. A title I’ve not got round to trying yet but heard good things about (whi...

Re: Jim Power (PC Engine CD)

Enjoyed the write up. People of dismissive of Euro games of this period usually due to the difficulty and usually convoluted one button control schemes.
But if you grew up with them you soon adapted these systems and games were our NES.

Re: I love the Sega Saturn

Yes it does indeed open a whole new library. Games I’ve played upto yet X-Multiply Chase HQ Both arcade perfect ports but the big one is the Capcom Fighters like Street Fighter Zero 3 and Vs series. I suggest you watch Sega Lord X he is a big collector of Japanese Saturn games and has some great vid...

Re: 2019/3/26: Playstation 4: God of War

Every generation there is group then moan that this is the worst generation. It’s a nonsense narrative there are some great games this generation like the generations before it. I think some people focus too much on the ‘AAA’ titles there is another tier of titles (albeit mostly digital these days) ...

Re: 2019/3/26: Playstation 4: God of War

I’m about 20% in, the games good but I wouldn’t say it’s great.

It hasn’t got the same pull as Horizon Zero Dawn. Once I got into that I couldn’t put it down.

God of War I will play through but I’m not itching to play it.

Not looking good I’m afraid unless something comes out of the blue.

On the upside Tanglewood is getting round to delivering it’s batches and Xeno Crisis seems to be running Ok so I wouldn’t write off new retro games for one bad experience.

Re: PS Vita is mostly no more.

I really like the Vita but you’ve got to be willing to accept the best of its library is digital.
But for me the best thing about the Vita is being able to remote play my PS4 from it and use it as a portable emulation machine, that screen is gorgeous and makes retro games sing.

Re: Double Dragon 2600 vs 7800

I could be wrong about this, but I've always felt that it was supposed to be another type of game Sega was gonna release for the Game Gear but then they slapped the Double Dragon license on it at the last minute in an attempt to sell more copies. Like I said, I could be totally off base with this t...

Ah thanks. I believe someone is working on a Saturn translation so may wait for that.

I’ve just purchased a Saturn Video CD card and this is the only game that must use it. Would it be playable in Japanese (with a guide) ?
