Re: 2018/9/23: Sega Master System: Great Volleyball, Dynamite Dux

Niiice. Always glad to read more Master System reviews. :)

Dynamite Dux needs an import-only icon, I believe? It wasn't released in North America as far as I know.

Re: VGC Anti Atari??

Hmm...so just as an example, I took a peek at your Wii U reviews. About 75 percent of them are C- and above. So are you planing on going back and docking the grades of everything above it to establish an equilibrium of grades? That's not an ideal example since he hasn't reviewed the complete Wii U ...

Re: Halloween Games Suggestions

The Japanese-exclusive 3DO survival horror game Dr. Hauzer was recently translated by a fan -- the only 3DO fan translation to date (at least in English). It'd be nice to see that one get reviewed. You could also look at Casper: Friends Around the World , a 2D platformer on PlayStation. And of cours...

Re: 2018/9/1: Virtual Boy: Space Invaders Virtual Collection (Japan), Virtual Bowling (Japan)

What a nice surprise to see these two new Virtual Boy reviews! Great to see these off-the-beaten-path games documented and reviewed in English, and to see you getting so close to a 100% complete VB review set. Are there any Virtual Boy titles left to review? Yup, there are three officially released ...

Re: 2018/8/28: Sega Master System: Aztec Adventure, Submarine Attack (Europe)

Re: submarine games, there's also Conquest of the World for the Odyssey², which has a fair amount of submarine action mixed in with its board game-based structure.

I like the graphics in Sqoon! They're very "early Famicom" but look good for what they are.

Re: 2018/8/20: Sega 32X: RBI Baseball '95

Neat surprise to see this review pop up! I own this game but have never gotten around to playing it properly, though I did put a lot of time into RBI 3 and 4. I'll have to move it up the list. Only one unreviewed North American 32X game left to review!...and it's Supreme Warrior. Sorry, Critic. :twi...

Re: Gaming Days probably coming to almost an end.

What's staved this off for me is a combination of two things: having specific, defined goals when I play -- for example, beating all the games in a series, or in a certain genre -- and actually logging all my gameplay time. The former puts limits on my play and creates a sense of purpose; the latter...

Re: 2018/7/16: Intellivision: Sub Hunt, Commando

Pleased to see Commando get a positive review -- I've always thought they did a nice job with that one. Haven't really played Sub Hunt though it's been on my list to explore more.

And, of course, I'm always happy to see new Intellivision reviews! :)

Re: RBI Baseball 95 (Sega 32X)

Nice -- really glad the new cart worked out for you! Some 32X games are notorious for problems on certain systems, especially Knuckles Chaotix, but I'd never heard of RBI '95 causing a problem.

Looking forward to the review!

Re: 2018/7/1: Sega CD: Stellar-Fire, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

^Cafeman's post matches what I've read from other folks who know P:TMA well. The Sega CD version has the extra levels that are also present in the 32X version, but without the framerate issues that plague that version. (The 32X cart updates about half of the onscreen elements at 30fps, the rest at 6...
