Re: Easy SRPGs?

Here's another stupid question: why don't my mages have any spells? Do I have to make them whack some bad guys with their staff to give them more JBs before they can actually help?

Re: Easy SRPGs?

Has anyone here played the Fire Emblem games? How would you say they stack up against Final Fantasy Tactics? I've looked at screenshots, and the battlefields all look completely flat-- which to me is a good thing. The layered and sloping battlefields of FFT are a little hard to navigate, especially ...

Are you sure that wasn't DBD? They have a mode where you can play as Michael Myers, with his own unique abilities.

Question: How do I use phoenix downs? I've got a ton of them, but none of my guys have the option to use them. The chemist can use potions, but not PDs.

Re: Easy SRPGs?

I was told to avoid grinding in FFT because the enemies level with you, essentially making leveling up at all pointless.

Easy SRPGs?

I really want to get into strategy RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics but the learning curve is kicking my butt! Maybe I need an easier one to learn the ropes with, then try the more challenging ones like FFT and Tactics Ogre. Any suggestions?

Re: This months's free PS+ games

Just finished Master Reboot, one of this month's free games on PS3, and it was... weird. The premise is interesting enough. You're a person Matrix-ing themselves into the "Soul Cloud" where people can relive their memories for all eternity after dying, but a virus is corrupting the cloud's...

Re: Until Dawn death count?

Sounds like a challenge! I don't recall my death count of my first play-thru, but this is an excellent excuse to play that game again. It's a classic!! I played it once, don't know if I'll play it again. Maybe I can make it a Halloween tradition! I watched a youtuber I like play through it, and I h...

Until Dawn death count?

First of all, SPOILER WARNING FOR UNTIL DAWN I just finished my first playthrough of Until Dawn, and did... okay, I guess, haha. I only lost three guys. What about you guys? Jess: accidentally left her behind as Matt. Josh: didn't collect the diary, so the wendigo killed him. Sam: failed the "d...

Fun fact, Akira Yamaoka made a lot of the songs in the first game (maybe the others, I don't know) with a dentist drill and a metal trash can.
