Re: Madden 19 (Playstation 4)

I was at my friend's yesterday, and he was playing Madden 19, and he was having a blast. I couldn't help but look at the screen for a couple seconds and it looked good. Like, I hadn't seen a football game look like this.

Re: Gaming Days probably coming to almost an end.

The developers are what keep me coming. SNK, Nintendo, Sega, etc. I've been playing my FPS football and baseball games like it's 1995. If those companies didn't exist I might barely play video games. If anything, I'm more excited than ever to play video games, with lots of all time great 2d action g...

Re: 2018/8/4: Nintendo 64: Bomberman 64, International Superstar Soccer

The PS1 sports games were serviceable for the time. But right now I literally can't think of a more boring type of game to play than a PS1 sports game. Every sport has been done noticeably better on other systems.

Re: 2018/8/4: Nintendo 64: Bomberman 64, International Superstar Soccer

I tried ISS and the controls are so bad it's basically a worthless game. It's one of many extreme N64 sports disappointments. Knowing what I know now, I should've gotten a Saturn. There sports games look awesome, especially the baseball ones and Sega Worldwide Soccer.

Re: Favorite Albums of the 90s

One album I'll add is Rancid's And Out Come The Wolves. One thing that fascinates me about this album is the time period it came out, in mid 1995. It seemed to me like this was exactly the point where Rock and roll died. Come late '95 alternative rock got way too lightweight and boring. Bands like S...

Re: Computer Games 1998-2000

I have three PC's that surround me, One uses Windows 10 and I use that to play demandingly large games like Postal 2 as it was built for the computers of tomorrow, While my other two are Windows 98 and XP respectively and I've been kicking back with a lot of Half-Life, DooM, Quake, William Shatter'...

Re: Computer Games 1998-2000

By 1993 I was playing football, racing, and baseball simulations with such sophistication and depth that it made those games on a certain early 90's Nintendo system look ridiculous, the Genesis is a different story obviously because it held its own with sports games. I played NHLPA 93' for the compu...

Re: The Crew 2 game review

I think it's been discussed before whether things were different in the mid 90's. I distinctly remember in Gamepro a lot of games getting bad reviews; it was usually one of the most interesting reviews of the issue, with jokes being made about how bad the game is. I guess there's the possibility eve...

Computer Games 1998-2000

In 2000, I had a roommate who played computer games. They were really nice looking too. I was into video games at the time, as I had stopped playing computer games. But I had noticed that around mid 2000, computer games were way more advanced than video games, especially because the PS2 hadn't come ...

Re: Arcades, Game Rooms, & the Like.

I loved arcades. One of my favorite memories was playing Mortal Kombat 2 on vacation in 1993. I wasn't around for the golden age of arcades. But 1993-1995 was pretty freaking good.
