Re: Favorite Grunge Albums

I think I'm starting to realize that the grunge explosion ended some good hair metal bands. I liked Skid Row back in 1989-1990, but I've been listening to their records lately, and the first 2 albums are amazing. I'm a big Warrant fan, and they got dropped from their record label after Dog Eat Dog. ...

Re: Super Mario Land (Gameboy)

I’ve been having so much fun playing SML1 that I thought, why not boot up 6 Golden Coins. So I get through the first level, which is ok, although definitely a shock at how slow the game moves compared to the original and really kind of every other Mario game I’ve played. So I get to the hub where yo...

Re: Super Mario Land (Gameboy)

I never realized that this game has some replay value. After playing it a few days a while back I didn’t realize the depth it has. Then I tried to play 6 Golden Coins and boy is it tough to get into. It’s like I have to dedicate hours and hours just to play it. Even the non water levels goes so slow...

Re: Game Players June 95 Magazine

That’s 1 level in the Saturn’s entire history from I guess a prototype of what eventually became Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast. And the level has no enemies or obstacles to overcome. I’m not even sure the Saturn had enough power to have enemies in a 3d game. Then you need AI and I doubt it was ca...

Re: Game Players June 95 Magazine

Until you show me a game like the ones I listed, you have basically no argument. I don’t think anyone takes you seriously. Do you have any idea how absurd your arguments are. You couldn’t show me a game like the ones I mentioned. So you have as close as you can get to having no right to continue. Yo...

Re: Game Players June 95 Magazine

I’ve said a million times. There are no games on the Saturn that have 3d worlds that aren’t confined to narrow spaces. There are no games with an open world like Super Mario 64, or Twisted Metal or Goldeneye. These are just examples. The Saturn couldn’t even pull off a fully 3d game with worlds much...

Re: Game Players June 95 Magazine

I've always said what if the PS3 got discontinued after the first year or so. Obviously it never would've happened. But it would've been viewed as a failure. I remember a few years ago talking about the Jaguar's capabilities and getting laughed out of the thread. Now we're talking about the Saturn, ...

Re: Super Mario Land (Gameboy)

I never realized how many different paths there are. There’s a lot of places to go up top sort of reminiscent of Super Mario Bros. Some which I haven’t even figured out how to get to lol. I can’t understand why 6 Golden Coins didn’t keep the fireball thing. It can get coins and bounce high to get en...

Re: Baseball Season?

One thing that is irritating about the long season is that my favorite team will lose a lot of games. If they're not the 1998 Yankees it's going to hurt. The Marlins won the world series in 1997 and 2003. I watched almost every game in 1997 and they lost 70 games. It's so depressing when they lose a...

Re: Game Players June 95 Magazine

I actually did some research and all it did was support my views. The reason 3rd party developers didn’t make games for the Saturn was because they realized right away that it was impossible to make 3d games for it. There was no way to have a game in an open world. And there are no games anyone did ...
