Re: Games that are perfect examples of great design?

Some of those levels in Goldeneye were incredibly well designed, like inside all of those facilities. Some of those levels are just incredible. The first Metal Slug has great levels that I never get tired of playing. It may actually be the best Slug.

I agree about early 90's baseball. In the late 80's early 90's there was a huge drop in home runs from previous years and decades, which I loved. The Phillies and Braves were fun to watch. Pittsburgh and the Mets and Boston had a lot of great players. There was so much strategy back then and hitters...

Isn’t that the great thing about video games. It’s one of the things that are fun that you don’t have to hear the news. Basketball and tennis are definitely ways also.

Capcom arcade classics 1 & 2 (PS2)

It was quite an experience playing Twisted Metal 2 after years the problem was the graphics are just so hard on the eyes. After playing predominantly beautiful looking 2d games the last few years I couldn’t believe how poorly it held up. The exploration part I liked now just seemed like a waste of t...

Crash Bandicoot

I just got the first couple crash bandicoot games. I’d played them I think rented them a couple times in the 90’s and had fun so I thought it would be a blast. I’m having trouble getting motivated for this game I don’t even know what the problem is. I’ve absolutely been loving Twisted Metal 2 lately...

Re: Best Sports Video Games of All Time!

I like the list and think it is very accurate. Some of these are almost impossible to choose between one of two games. The best sims like College Hoops 2k8 got represented and was the highest rated realistically for a realistic game. Football is impossible between Tecmo Super Bowl and 2k5
