Re: Your favorite pinball games

I need to find a pinot, never played it. I played Adam's Family a couple times. It didnt win me over. The times I played it there were other pins I knew I liked so I didnt give it much of a chance. Hurricane was good, didnt get much time with it, but I liked it. There was a roller coaster pin I like...

Re: Ogre Battle (SNES)

As a huge fan of Vandal Hearts (PS1), I should probably break my piggyback to get a copy of this. Vandal Hearts is awesome, but Ogre Battle is not really comparable. Like Retro said Vandal Hearts is more comparable to Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. Just so there is no confusion Tactics Ogr...

Re: Ogre Battle (SNES)

Love this game. One of my absolute favorites. The PS1 version allows you to save in battles and has hero specific sprites. The downside is that the PS1 has loading in between fights. The few seconds of loading is a drag, especially considering how slow the gameplay is. Still I like both versions. I ...

Re: What was your best goodwill video game find?

Oh, Goodwill. Or St. Vinny's. How times have changed. Used to be you could find nearly anything for next-to-nothing. Nowadays, I feel like every single item in most thrift shops is price-checked online first, taking a lot of thrill out of the find. I recently saw a stack of NES games at a local St....

Re: 2019/9/11: Intellivision: Beamrider, Spiker Super Pro Volleyball

Although I strongly disagree with you about Beamrider it is great to see new Intellivision reviews! I LOVE the moving grid graphic illusion that is conveyed on Beamrider. I also think the constant "humming" sound throughout the game adds to the experience. Extra lives are earned by runnin...

Re: Another incomplete game incoming with half of the content being DLC!

I buy games like this used once they are dirt cheap. It's almost time for me to buy Call of Duty WWII. I didn't buy it new, because I don't want to be forced to be on the internet.

No Klax! Oh no!

I'm happy with Parasol Stars, Blazing Lazers, Splatterhouse and Power Golf and R_Type.

No World Class Baseball. No TV Sports games? Bummer.

Once in awhile on a Google search something cool comes up on pinterest. I click on it to see what it is and automatically required to sign in. Forget that.

Re: Will you miss Game Stop

I do somewhat still like brick and mortar stores. I had a holiday in the UK this summer(I have been there many times and have family residing in South England). In the UK, unlike most cities in the US, downtown is actually where the hub of shopping activity lurks. England is not so much into "...
