I agree with Retrostife. Seems like a compromise on what you really want.
Also if you can’t put quarters in it then it just wouldn’t feel right.

I loved Wii Sports and Sports Resort, but nothing else. I was excited for the PS version, but it just felt like a copycat. I played the Kinect, but never wanted to buy it. I think the motion control craze has died. Maybe in 10 years it will come back better than ever.

I loved Rolling Thunder. I liked the speed of the game. It’s kinda slow. Good call on the Shinobi reference. It feels a lot like it. My only complaint is how weird the levels got. I enjoyed the opening stage shooting at klansmen, but the weird mutants in the cave seemed really off.
I also wanted to add that I hate that the computer has computer players playing on the course at the same time as you. It’s annoying. I just played a game and thought I saw my putt shot bounce off the cup and then realized that it wasn’t even my ball. Also there doesn’t seem to have much progression...
I intend to review this very soon! Thanks for the reminder. Yeah I have read your reviews on the Hot Shots series and I know you love the games. I feel the same way but this one kind of let me down and that is the first time I have ever said that about this game. Me too. First one that disappointed...

About my favorite time period for PC gaming and the only time I actually played PC games. Fallout 1 & 2, Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale and Tzar: Burden of the Crown. I want an old computer just to be able to play those game’s again
