Torchlight (XB 360 / XB One)

Hey Dave.

Just want to recommend grabbing Torchlight off the free Games for Gold for the Xbox platform. Excellent game and was created by two key developers of Diablo 2. Definitely worth the free download.

Re: Add the release year to the console drop down menus on the website?

I think you can just go with the last two digits of the year of the release, e.g. "77 - Atari 2600". The decade is already listed in the respective menu text. That is what I went with to make it appear clean and uncluttered.

Re: Did 3DO games ever come in shrink wrap?

Yes - the long NTSC boxes (both versions) came shrink wrapped. I don't believe any titles were simply sold in jewel cases, but they may have been toward the latter part of the console's life cycle.

Re: 20th Anniversary Message

Dave. Nice reflection and insight - well done and congrats on 20 years! Like Mark, thank you for the kind words regarding the site redesign. Your continued efforts in not only maintaining, but growing the site is sincerely appreciated. Looking forward to another anniversary with VGC! Terry | Marriot...

Re: Seasonally Correct Section

I think it works well, though the colors are a little nuts for my taste <smiling>. That said, would it make sense to combine the "Use the site's eBay..." and the patreon option into one section ("Support the VGC" as the light blue header for this area). Just a thought.

Interesting video where the person took apart this new version and what is inside it.

Re: 2019/5/4: SG-1000: Golgo 13, James Bond 007

I have a problem though. The James Bond game is technically for the SC-3000, which is the next iteration of the SG-1000. So do I change the system name to SG-1000/SC-3000 like they do on http://www.vgmuseum.com/sg1000.htm ? Or is it okay to keep it like it is? Also, I feel like I need to put "...

VGC Top 20 List - Sports Genre

Dave. I know you made a Baseball Feature page, but it might be worth a look to make a VGC Top 20 Games for a specific sport. This could be a seasonal offering (which fits into your wheelhouse), as well as gives the clones a good overview of the best respective sport titles available through the vari...

Re: Review Page Format Change?

Dave - are your pages dynamically created / updated with new review additions or is it a manual editing of a static page process?

Re: What systems do you want to see more reviews for?

For systems that you done reviews for, I'd like to see more for the SG-1000. And for systems that you've yet to do a review for, I'd like to see an overview for the TI-99 followed by a few game reviews. I would love to see TI 99/4a reviews! Such a fun system with many unique games on cartridge. Als...
