Re: The 55 dollar question...

At this point I'd go with the USA version of the C64 mini. I already have a Raspberry Pi, and it's great for general old-skool console emulation so if you DON'T already have one of these, I'd make that the top choice. Naturally, I have a soft spot in my heart for the USA version of the C64 mini thou...

Re: Music!

I always had a soft spot in my heart for the Super Adventure Island soundtrack, a game I played quite regularly with my kids when they were little in the mid-to-late 90's. The tracks seemed to be lifted straight out of various pop songs at the time (stuff from Ace of Base, 2 Unlimited, stuff like th...

Re: Games to Play When You're Sick?

Feeling any better? And "sick day games" have any crossover appeal with "snow day games"?

Re: Good movies you’ve watched recently

I also saw Thor: Ragnarok as well in the past month with my wife, who usually won't sit through a Superhero movie anymore but we both enjoyed this one. It didn't take itself too seriously, and the action was good but brief by and large, with plenty of comedic relief thrown in. I watched Infinity War...

Re: Shocking Content?

My guess would be that one of the stills you used for one of those reviews triggered it. I just think it's crazy that they can't tell you SPECIFICALLY what the problem is; like "That picture that accompanies the review for Lollipop Chainsaw is too gory and graphic". Simply sending generic ...

Re: Christmas Loot

We're pretty poor since moving to Hawaii, so our Christmas gifts are pretty limited these days BUT I did get a nice new RGB mouse for my desktop computer: https://www.amazon.com/KLIM-AIM-Gaming-Mouse-Programmable/dp/B06XH2381Y/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1543022651&sr=8-9&keywords=gaming+mous...

Re: Merry Christmas!

Watched Elf with the wife and mother-in-law last night. We were in stitches. My favorite holiday movie! Tonight we'll probably watch the ultimate Christmas movie: A heart-warming, feet-slicing adventure called Die Hard! Two nights ago we watched Bad Santa. Last night was A Christmas Story, followed...

Re: Slain: Back From Hell (Switch)

I picked up the imported physical release of Slain for the PS4 recently and have been enjoying it quite a bit. For those interested the digital Switch version is on sale on the Nintendo eshop for $4.99, and the PS4 and Vita versions are only $2.99 on the PlayStation Store. Not to leave PC gamers in...
