Re: Gaming Days probably coming to almost an end.

I started playing drums again after an 11-year absence about a month-and-a-half ago. I originally went back to them as a way to get some physical exercise while doing something that would be more stimulating than riding a stationary bike, but they've unexpectedly become a substitute for gaming as we...

Re: A biased articles on why people should get a PS4 and Pro over the Nintendo Switch!

In my opinion I think the PS4 is the most overrated system of all time but that just me, and I am not alone on that as a few other think it overrated like the critic and Rich of ReviewTechUSA. And also I like ReviewTechUSA and yes I am inspired by him with controversial unpopular opinions. But if y...

Re: AVGN: Ready 4 Revenge (Blu Ray)

James Rolfe seems like a good guy. I admire his work ethic and the fact that he (with Youtube's help and a bit of luck) built an entire industry around his persona, and I also think that he's done a lot to interest his younger fans in classic films. The only real problem I have with him is that I do...

Re: Why ARM architecture for the Nintendo Switch is better then X86 from PS4/Xbox One!

If you have one YouTuber to blaim it is ReviewTechUSA as I was heavly inspired by him right down to saying digging in the metal in this video.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSI701GEWsA That's...not great form. If you no longer believed in what you were saying you could have gone with "You'v...

Re: Musicians ?

I've played guitar and bass since 1994 (with a few breaks mixed in); I also spent a couple of years on drums in the mid-2000s and have dabbled in keyboards (which I think is going to become a much more important instrument for me in the coming years) and saxophone. Played in a handful of bands over ...

Re: Cuphead (Xbox One)

Any chance this gets released on physical media? Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it. The game has already received a "physical release" that consisted of a case with a download code and an art cell from the game. I have no idea why - I'd think that they'd be limiting the amount of pot...

Re: The Horror Movie Lovers Thread

Saw "I Bury the Living" this weekend. A man who's elected chairman of a cemetery discovers people die when he marks their plots as occupied. Interesting, but with a dissapointing ending. Well made. Some scenes are stagey, but that's normal for a 50's film, and they pull off some interesti...

Re: Cuphead (Xbox One)

Just played it for about 90 minutes and it feels like at least a A- to me. Gunstar Heroes is probably the closest comparison. Just an absolute joy to play so far - you can feel the love and attention to detail that where poured into this game and there's a new surprise or discovery around every corn...

Re: E3!

I had a few extra days off in a row than normal so I took an evening to go through the conferences (via the Super Best Friends) and I was surprised by how much I was interested in: - Daemon x Machina (cool-looking mech game for the Switch) - Ghost of Tsushima (Sucker Punch made the PS2 Sly Cooper ga...

Re: Favorite boss fights?

Psycho Mantis is a great pick - that was unlike anything I'd ever seen in 1998. Here's a few - I'm sure I'll think of more later: God of War 2 - The Colossus of Rhodes: Just the most ridiculously epic beginning to a game ever. The game is full of great bosses to be fair. Batman: Arkham Asylum - The ...
