Re: Sonic Live Action Movie trailer.

Incredibly, the director has announced that they'll work on changing Sonic's design in the movie after all the negative feedback:

Re: 2019/4/20: Nintendo Switch: Hollow Knight

I have this downloaded on my Switch, but the dozens of other quality indies have distracted me from it. That said, I'll definitely revisit it thanks to this review. Speaking of quality indies that are now on the Switch, I think it's safe to say Cuphead would also get a ton of praise if the VGC ever ...

Ape Out (Switch)

Here's a game that will sadly probably go overlooked by the general public, but may very well be the best indie game of this year so far. The first thing that immediately stands out about Ape Out is its graphical style, which arguably does a better job of conveying its surprisingly brutal tone than ...

Re: PS Vita is mostly no more.

I honestly really liked the Vita's selection of indies on the go, which makes it feel very much like a proto-Switch in retrospect. For my money, there's no better way to play Spelunky, which is the very definition of a modern classic.

Resident Evil 2 (PS4)

Speaking as someone who just can't bring myself to genuinely enjoy the original PS1 Resident Evil games, I absolutely loved my time with this remake. As you most likely know by now, this is not a mere remaster of a 20-year-old game but rather a dramatic overhaul that (to my knowledge) still retains ...

Re: What’s the definitive Tetris game?

Tetris Effect is indeed quite the trip with PlayStation VR, although the sheer cost of getting the headset in the first place makes it less than ideal if all you want to do is play Tetris. The VR isn't mandatory, but it is undoubtedly the main attraction. Slightly off topic since it's not exactly a ...

Re: Capcom releasing Resident Evil 7 on Switch, In the Dumbest Way Imaginable

Yeah, this is quite possibly the worst way to release it on Switch imaginable. A graphically downgraded port that you actually own would be far preferable to whatever Frankenstein's monster of modern penny-pinching game industry practices this is. Capcom in general is quite fond of using anti-consum...

Because of the supposedly pretty hefty Octo Expansion DLC coming out later this year.

Re: Rodea: The Sky Solider (Wii U)

Do you only have the Wii U version or do you also have the bonus Wii version disc? The latter, while still no masterpiece, actually differs in terms of controls and gameplay mechanics and is a better game overall.

Re: Hardest puzzles?

This applies more to the entire game than just one puzzle, but the difficulty of the obscure PC-only puzzle game Stephen's Sausage Roll starts off at insane and only increases from there. The puzzles are actually brilliantly designed for the most part, but the $30 price tag makes it hard to recommen...
