Re: Album Sales Dying Fast

I really enjoy Arctic Monkeys, but haven’t listened to their music beyond the first two albums. Word is that they’ve changed/evolved/whatever, so I’m not all that interested.

Re: Album Sales Dying Fast

^havent heard is any of those bands. But, I listen to more news than music these days. Maybe Podcasts, live streaming, etc has also cut into the music market (just as newer source of competition).

I love speedrunning and game challenges. Check out the torment this guy goes through (towards the end, and he and his friend struggle for a while):

Re: 2019/1/19: Nintendo Switch: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

People who take Smash “seriously” tend to use the GameCube controller, but that’s mostly due to them cutting their teeth on Melee. I’m sure the Pro is an upgrade over the Joycons.

We have Brawl, and play with the Wiimotes, which is surprisingly playable after doing some button customization.

What’s the definitive Tetris game?

My wife and I were talking about much she used to love Tetris—would play for hours and got very good. Her work has been stressful and she’d like to get back into for fun.

Any recommendations?

Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One)

My daughter and I just watched and enjoyed the movie (more than I expected). Anyway, I considered picking up a modern console to play these games on, since I heard they were really well done. Well, the violence and profanity shut that down pretty quick. Oh well

Re: 2019/1/30: Playstation 4: Marvel's Spider-Man

For me criticizing the 8th gen consoles? I love my PS3, but I can't name a single thing it did better than the PS4. The reason why I say it was I was unimpressed with the 8th Gen consoles save for PC, 3DS, and PS Vita during the 2013 to 2016 period outside of a few stand outs like Uncharted 4, etc....

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate vs Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

PC gaming definitely has its advantages, but so do co soles (though I’d argue that they are much closer than they used to be, back before console games had internet access). Today, I’d say PCs have Steam, consoles have the Switch. I’ve always been a console gamer, if anything because it felt like “w...

Re: Hollow Knight - Can we convince VGC to download a game?

You do realize that if he relents, downloads the game, and doesn’t like it.....y’all are in big trouble. Making the critic break his own standard for a game that doesn’t get an A? Y’all would be looking at a suspension, or a dummy icon next to your name, or maybe worse..
