Re: A biased articles on why people should get a PS4 and Pro over the Nintendo Switch!

Simply ignores both affordability and the stability of a console's standardized hardware as good reasons for choosing a PS4 over a gaming PC, because reasons. Also bashes PCs, because of exaggerated issues. Claims to be simply letting other people think for him. Oh. Trolling. That makes sense then....

Re: A biased articles on why people should get a PS4 and Pro over the Nintendo Switch!

Actually the X68000 of Castlevania and Gradius are quite different so it does not count. And by different, you really mean better. As you pointed out earlier, quite wisely, the most important thing in a gamer's life is gaining Tony Stark amounts of money, and treating yourself to only the very best...

Re: A biased articles on why people should get a PS4 and Pro over the Nintendo Switch!

Man, I've heard so much about the NES lately, but besides a few exclusives like Punch-Out and Super Mario 3, what's it offer that doesn't play better on an X68000? Castlevania? Gradius? Ha! The real versions are all here! Personal computer master race forever! I can't accept anything less than the b...

Re: 2018/7/8: Sega 32X: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

Man, this game is everything wrong with old school western design philosophies.

No wonder why Japan was kicking their asses.

Re: 2018/6/3: Saturn: F1 Challenge, X-Men Vs. Street Fighter (Japan)

Thanks for the explanation. That adds a lot of context...

But I can't hate this. It's like a sequel to Virtua Racing. Which itself felt like the heir to games like Pole Position.

I sometimes miss that old school design.

Was Sega the last developer to make arcade style F1 racers?

F1 Challenge sounds like the fun kind of bad. Or perhaps even good for a niche crowd?

But why is it being compared to sims? It's like giving Crazy Taxi a bad review for reckless driving.

Re: 2018/5/20: Game Boy: Tetris, Centipede

Tetris is my kryptonite. Difficulty 9? I love dancing in the cemetery with Ghouls N' Ghosts. I won't ever admit to myself how often I replay Battletoads, thrilling to the white knuckle rush of adrenaline where I needed to stop consciously existing long enough to survive stage 3. And I've even played...

Re: 2018/4/29: Game Boy Color: Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

For me, the fetch quests are part of the experience. It's about getting to know people, and helping them, without any obstacles getting in the way that I'm not capable of handling. And being rewarded for it, which isn't always the case in real life. It's just the simplicity of it all. It helps me me...

Re: 2018/4/29: Game Boy Color: Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

Another Gameboy review? Thank you! Item juggling headaches aside, I loved this game for the storytelling. It's in the same spirit as Majora's Mask, even if not quite as dark. At least not for most of it. SPOILER WARNING: I still can't believe Nintendo made a game where the villains are the ones tryi...

Re: 2018/4/16: NES: Dizzy the Adventurer, Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy, The

I found a mistake in your review: The Aladdin deck enhancer was just a way for Codemasters to save money when publishing unlicensed titles. The real reason you can't play its carts on a standard NES is only because they're missing most of the cart, and the lockout bypass. It doesn't ever actually en...
