Re: Game Journalism Awards

I think my reviews are far too succinct to ever fare well in something like this. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I think that because of the reviews at sites like IGN and Gamespot, gamers have been conditioned to believe that the longer and more exhaustively detailed the review, the better it...

Re: 2020/3/7: Nintendo Switch: Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha, Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo

If I only bought one of these, which one should I get? I like a good shmup from time to time, but I'm not a huge fan so I won't be forking out the cash for both (would have been nice if they had a less expensive standard edition). Also, I highly recommend the stand pictured below for anyone wanting ...

Re: Good joysticks for the Switch?

I believe so. At least according to the description you can: "The wired PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox 360 Controllers and fight sticks , and standard wired USB Controllers like Logitech rumble gamepad F510 and F310 can be connected to your Nintendo Switch, PS3 and PC...

Re: Good joysticks for the Switch?

If you already own an arcade stick for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, or Xbox 360, you might want to just get an adapter like the Mayflash Magic-NS: https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-Magic-NS-Wireless-Controller-Nintendo/dp/B079B5KHWQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=mayflash+magic-ns&qid=1581778693&sprefix=m...

Re: Axiom Verge 2 announced

Those were the two games that stuck out most to me also. Hopefully, we get a physical release for both of those. The third game that caught my attention was The Talos Principle, which nobody else probably cared about since it sounds like the topic of some really boring lecture you sat through in col...

Re: Fighting Baseball on Super Famicom

Have you tried playing a Super Famicom game on the Retron 5 or Retro Freak? If I'm not mistaken, the only thing keeping you from playing a Super Famicom game on an SNES are a couple of tabs on the cartridge slot that make it impossible to insert a Super Famicom game. I doubt the Retron 5 or Retro Fr...

Re: Lord of the Rings Extended vs Theatrical?

I pretty much always prefer the theatrical version of a movie over an extended version. I don't really see much point in adding deleted scenes. Isn't there a reason those scenes were cut in the first place? Plus, I usually prefer movies to be under 2 hours and extended versions usually run well over...
