Nintendo 2DS.... 2D

This looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Who wants a "2ds" that can't close? To me, thats a bigger problem than the 3d being gone. Its gonna be like playing a 3ds emulator on a tablet. I can't imagine anyone choosing this over the slightly more expensive standard 3ds model.

Critic, I get the feeling you don't like open world games with minor RPG elements like Far Cry 3. I notice you tend to give games like this lower reviews than more linear games. I guess they are two different types of games. I like both types of games though.

<br id="...

The value of games

I would like to say that the one exception for me is Gog.com. Its a place that sells digital download PC games that are completely DRM free. Essentially you download a .exe file for the game you want. It is not against the rules to burn the .exe file to your own discs (Preser...

I've never been able to figure out the fire pro series. However, maybe I need to try again. I keep hearing they are supposed to be great.

However, What I like the best is easily WWF no mercy for Nintendo 64. It was the best wrestling game to use the AKI engine. &nbs...

Google developing a console??

If it has access to Google play, this is pretty significant. There are several emulators of older systems for download on Google play. There, if Google's system is nice and reliable and has a good controller, its pretty much a must buy, regardless of whatever games come out f...

GameStop Perspective

I guess powerup is not a scam directly, because they tell you exactly what it is. I referred to it as a scam, because you would have to spend a lot to make it worth it, and the way they pressure employees to promote it . If employees do not get a certain percentage of powerup sales or pr...

I can't see how anyone can pay 60 bucks for a game. Thats insane. I live on a $1000 a month internship + student loans (no help from parents) so my money is VERY limited. No matter how much game developers (who make far more money than me) like Cliffy B in the other thread try to g...

Rumor That MS is Dropping XB1's DRM Today (Update - CONFIRMED)

This is great news. However I don't trust Microsoft. Until the system is released and people can try it hands on, there is no guarantee they wont try some other DRM. It says you still have to activate it the first time you turn it on. Whats the point of this? ...

PS4 has no DRM/on-line restrictions!

This sounds awesome. For the record slickdeals has started a list of stores that are accepting preorders now. if you are interested in it, you probably want to preorder it now, so you dont have to wait in line for 20 hours 6 months from now.

http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/9...
