Re: What do you like/dislike about the site?

Having to wait for messages to be approved before they post keeps me from being super active. It just takes too long to have a conversation. Also, I can never find a picture with a small enough size to make my avatar.

Re: The 55 dollar question...

I got the C-64 Mini for Christmas...haven't really touched the thing. The game selection is terrible. Yes, I know you can add games but it is not that easy, most of the games you download do not work. Plus, any games that originally had multi floppy disks are a chore to get to work. Just my two cen...

Re: What ever happened to arcade style racing games?

I would be interested in reading reviews of Onrush, Xenon Racer, and Horizon Chase Turbo, just sayin ;)

Seriously, I'd love to see what the critic thinks of Onrush. It looked promising, but I haven't heard much about it since it released. It's only $21 on Amazon right now.

Re: Nice Email

This site is probably my favorite resource for retro gaming on the intent. I can't even count the number of times I've pulled this site up in a used game store. I don't get to post very often (crazy busy job), but I really do appreciate everything you do, Dave, for the retro community.

Re: 2019/2/24: Nintendo Switch: Mutant Football League

I was tempted to buy this game until I tried the demo on PC. It sucks! The Critic nailed it in his review. Is it so hard to actually make games fun? I played Tecmo Super Bowl with my family right before the actual Super Bowl and we had a great time. Can't say the same for Madden...

Re: 2019/2/20: Playstation 4: Soul Calibur VI

Soul Calibur I and II were excellent games. The series sort of went downhill from there. For me, it's about what VI has new to offer. It doesn't seem like much, other than a character creator. I used to be a huge fighting game fan, but then the market got satured, and I got older, and no longer have...

That's my favorite version too. My wife and I still have competitions with this one. If you need it for modern systems, Puyo Puyo Tetris is great too.

Re: 2019/1/30: Playstation 4: Marvel's Spider-Man

I've been engrossed in this game for the past two months. What do you think about my review? Can you guys think of any icons for this one? So glad it got a great review considering how mediocre the 8th gen consoles are as a whole save for the Nintendo Switch. We need more games like that not cross ...

Re: The 55 dollar question...

I like the simplicity of the C64 mini over the Raspberry Pi. I also like being able to manipulate game settings by creating .cjm files. It's actually really easy using this online tool:
