Re: The 55 dollar question...

I like the simplicity of the C64 mini over the Raspberry Pi. I also like being able to manipulate game settings by creating .cjm files. It's actually really easy using this online tool:

Re: The 55 dollar question...

I'd go with the C64 Mini. Super fun console and easy to work with. Update the firmware, hookup a keyboard and a thumb drive and you are good to go. So many games to play and it handles them well. Plus it looks really cool 8-)

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate vs Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Why would the Critic have given the Wii U version a better grade if the 3DS version had not existed? I'm having trouble following the logic here as well. The 3DS version was a lot of fun. So many people were playing Smash on the go. For example, college campuses and public schools had a lot of stud...

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate vs Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

The thing is critic would have given the Wii U version a higher grade if no 3DS version existed which shows that 3DS harmed the Wii U one. Why would the Critic have given the Wii U version a better grade if the 3DS version had not existed? I'm having trouble following the logic here as well. The 3D...

Re: Best Game of this Generation (so far)

I agree with Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm playing it now and am totally hooked. It is slow at first, but picks up nicely.

My vote would be for Batman Arkham Knight. Underrated game for sure!

Re: Game of the Year 2018?

Super Smash Ultimate is my game of the year.

Also, I hate MMO's but love Elder Scrolls Online. Summerset was a great expansion to the game!

Re: 2018/12/17: NES: 8-Bit Xmas 2017

Glad you liked it! The gameplay is mediocre, but the novelty factor makes it worh it! I'm thinking about getting this year's game (skiing). Have to regulate my Christmas spending though...

Re: C64 mini

I ordered one for Christmas, since $60 is a reasonable price. I know the included joystick has issues, but it is easily modded with a longer screw (see YouTube). I have a small usb drive already loaded with a bunch of games. I also have an ibuffalo usb snes controller that supposedly works well. A ...
