Re: C64 mini

I ordered one for Christmas, since $60 is a reasonable price. I know the included joystick has issues, but it is easily modded with a longer screw (see YouTube). I have a small usb drive already loaded with a bunch of games. I also have an ibuffalo usb snes controller that supposedly works well. A ...

Re: N64 still fun for company

We play a lot of couch co-op in my house and my two modern favorites are Towerfall and Duck Game. I wish these two would get physical releases!

Thanksgiving levels

I recently bought the Super Famicom game Mickey's Magical Quest 3. I was excited to get it because the first level has an amazing Thanksgiving/harvest theme. You even fight a turkey! It's a shame this game didn't come out in the US for the snes. I think it did get ported to the GBA though. Any other...

Re: High Def Sega!

You can also use a converter for Sega Master System, Game Gear, etc. The Analogue system is hardware emulation through FPGA. It's the closest you can get to the real thing and also no lag. However, it's not ...

Re: 2018/10/18: NES: Haunted Halloween '85

Glad you liked it! I always worry about recommeding games. Halloween is a holiday that always takes me back to my childhood and fond memories of classic gaming.

I actually think the sequal is even better! Can't beat the transluscent cartridges and full packaging either.

Re: High Def Sega!

The fact that it comes with the Master System adapter gives it added value. I have a decent SMS collection, so $190 for both Sega Genesis and SMS is not too bad.

Re: High Def Sega!

There are so many great Sega Genesis games like Castlevania Bloodlines, Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi, etc. Very excited for this!

In my original post I meant to say "a Framemeister without SCART" wasn't a great solution.
