I'll add TMNT IV, Animaniacs, Sunset Riders, and TMNT Tournament Fighters as Konami games that were better on the SNES.

Wow, totally disagree with those ridiculously high marks. The first Gameday was ok, being the first NFL game for the system. It's probably Beyond Shadowgate. There was also a game called Loom. They were both tg-16 cd games. Never played either one but I read some pretty good reviews for them back in the day.
