Which is the better game? Castlevania 4 or Bloodlines?

[QUOTE=JWK]I'm the resident Castlevania nerd on the forum, and I'd have to say Super CV IV wins hands down.  It's not a blow out, but it's not particularly close, either.  Of the four 16 bit games, I think you're missing the best one: Rondo of Blood.  Of the three mentioned games, I a...

AWFUL Games You'd Like to See Reviewed?

Dragon Riders: Chronicles of Pern- Maybe THE worst game made for the Dreamcast. I still don't know how I purchased and played through this unfinished travesty. Maybe because I was dead-broke at the time. ODT- I got a Playstation demo cd of this crap in the mail, back around 97-98. I should've mailed...

hidden affordable gems for psx (ps1)

Alundra was a great action-rpg. The sequel was ok, just doesn't come close to the original. Here's some more games I enjoyed during the consoles heyday, nothing classic or groundbreaking:

Akuji the Heartless
Swagman
Philosoma
Spider
Adventures of Lomax

Which is the better game? Castlevania 4 or Bloodlines?

I thought they were both pretty hard, but not too frustrating. Bloodlines seemed a bit easier using Eric Lecarde. I think Castlevania IV is way better, no comparison really. It's my 2nd favorite game of the series, right behind SOTN. The music was incredible, some of the best stuff to be pumped out ...

Favorite First-Person Shooter?

I remember when FPSs were simply called "doom clones" or "corridor shooters".

Favorite First-Person Shooter?

[QUOTE=Silver_Fox]I'm not sure exactly how the question is meant. FPS and 3rd person shooters are different, it's simple. If you can see your character onscreen, it's 3rd person. Sometimes games have both perspectives. Would you call Halo a 3rd person shooter? Would you call Gungrave a FPS? I am not...

Rechargeable Batteries SUCK!

Why not just get a rechargeable battery pack and cable for the 360 controller? You can even use it while its charging, like a PS3 controller. If they are lithium-ion batteries, then yes they will lose power over time, when not charging. The same way a cellphone does.

Where are the action/rpgs?

I know the guy can't review every single game, I wasn't just referring to him. I know there are other reviewers. Where is this rpg critic? I haven't even seen these titles mentioned.

Don't like traditional rpgs, aside from a select few. They're often too long and boring.
