Re: Seedi Optical Disc Retro System

You're paying for the time and assembly and configuration work really This thing actually reads optical discs from different systems, which is not something I've seen before. So, that's more than time, assembly and configuration, in that this is something new (to me, at least) above even a PC. As f...

Re: Modern Game Nostalgia

I don't remember which MVP Baseball game it was exactly I think it might have been 2005 but they had a ton of legendary players in it including CY Young Babe Ruth,Ty Cobb Walter Johnson,Nolan Ryan and a bunch of others :) I do love how the modern sports games are putting in legendary players and te...

Simcity SNES.

Simcity for the SNES (1991) is a genuine classic. I believe the most similar game to this he has reviewed is Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis Xbox (2003) which he gave a B-. Simcity is the genesis of this type of game and Nintendo (developed and published) nailed this Maxis classic on it's first att...

Re: Retron 5 Death Grip?

I'm glad you like the Retron 5. I really loved it as well. I think with practice you get better at pulling out the carts. A word of warning though I don't recommend playing repro carts in it. They work but feels like your going to break the main board when you pull them out. My only minor gripe abou...

Re: 2017/5/31: Genesis: Desert Demolition, Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble

Sad all these Looney Tune games suck so bad for the Genesis and SNES... A lot of the times the graphics look super sharp and impressive as well but the games are terrible. Double Trouble is atrocious. Why is it so hard to make a good Looney Tunes game? I guess they figure it will sell based on the ...

Re: The NES or the Cartridge?

I've had the same issue with an NES before. Sounds like it needs a new 72 pin connector. You can buy them for less than $10 on ebay. Only tool you will need is a Philips head screwdriver. Just watch a youtube video on how to change it. It's surprisingly easy. Once you do that it should work like a b...

Re: Looking for Action RPG's.

These are fantastic suggestions thanks everyone for the feedback. I've never played Kingdom Hearts before for some reason I thought it was a traditional rpg. I'll have to give that a go. Does beyond Oasis have a leveling system? I assumed it was a zelda clone. I have played Gauntlet Legends and I do...

Looking for Action RPG's.

I have become somewhat obsessed with Action RPG's lately. They have become by far my favorite genre of games. I get really bored playing classic style RPG's as combat becomes so mundane just clicking through menu's and mashing buttons to cast your best attacks. A good action RPG melds arcade feel wi...
