Do your parents like video games?

My mom never played videogames but my dad always used to play Mortal Kombat II with me, growing up. He also put in just as much time into our PS2/Xbox when I lived with them. I think the biggest difference between my dad and me is that he's all about the newest games, on the most current consoles. A...

All the way through?

I just beat Mega Man 7 today. This has got to be one of the easiest MM games I've played and one of the few that I've finished. I really love the Super Adapter which merges Mega Man and Rush together. I found that the suit was my preferred option unless I was at a spot where the arm attack would loc...

Its unfair not to have all the Sega Genesis games in one section

Not a fan of grouping Sega CD titles with the 32X and Genesis. The games were sold as separate from the Genesis and had different packaging. This could cause problems where people are getting confused on what titles are for what console. As for the TCD, I could see that being a separate section but ...

Enemy Zero (Saturn)

The second game in the D series. This is a really fun title and quite scary. It puts a lot of fear into the gamer with limited saves, invisible enemies, and some good voice work for a game in the 5th generation. I'm interested to see what you have to say on the game. If you want a really scary (and ...

The Derailment of the 3d Genre

Olto has finished this discussion, Jon. The ps1 doesn't need defending. The end.
Maybe not against the Jaguar. Against every major 8 bit system, 16 bit system, the Saturn, and every major system that followed the PS...

All the way through?

I finished Diddy Konig Racing a couple days ago. I was craving a single player kart racer so I went back to this game. I haven't played it in years and I have always had a fondness for the game since I view it as one of the better kart racers for the N64. Still, I don't know what was so different th...

2015/2/27: Playstation Vita: Michael Jackson: The Experience, Tearaway

Good reviews. I like the Vita reviews since I honestly don't know too much about the system. It has never seemed to really flourish despite being out for a while. It's good to see that their are some good games for it although the MJ game looks bad (I can't imagine it actually being good). Still, Te...

Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie

Damn, I've been wanting to see this (and still will) but kind of sucks to hear about such a missed opportunity... I think the AVGN might have fit better trying to find some huge game score or something... Not saving the world. Still, I'll hold my opinion til I actually see it. Thanks for the review.

Plug-n-Play SNES?

Yeah... as long as Nintendo is selling consoles I doubt this will ever happen, legally. Why hurt their own sales when they can sell their games on the virtual console for much more? Now I do remember one of my friends having a fake NES with games uploaded onto it, about 10 years ago or something. Th...

Super Empire Strikes Back (SNES)

Yeah, I'm aware of the boxes but the label of the second game doesn't say that. If you don't own the actual box the cart just says "Super Empire Strikes Back". On the third game, it does actually say Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi on the front but the top of the label doesn't. This was likely d...
