Re: What are your top ten favorite GAMES of all time???

Man, this is tough, but I'll try. 10. Kid Icarus Uprising (3DS) 9. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (N64) 8. Sonic 2 (Genesis) 7. NBA Jam (Wii) 6. Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Genesis) 5. Excitebots: Trick Racing (Wii) 4. Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS) 3. Star Fox 64 (N64) 2. Paper Mario (N64) 1. Chrono Trigger (SN...

Best Modern Arcade Style Games?

People talk about how today's games don't have the same pick up and play quality they used to, so I challenge you guys to give me your favorite arcade style games of the modern era (2005-present or whatever) Here's mine: Excitebots (duh) NBA Jam (Wii) Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed Boom Blox...

Re: I love steak.

I work at a yacht club, and the steak there is amazing. A1 just makes it golden.

So yeah, steak is fantastic, though tilapia cannot be beat in my opinion.

Re: Blast Corps (N64): A

Yeah, for sure. I agree with you on arcade style/linear 3D games holding up better. I do think it's fascinating to explore some of the earlier ones though, and SM64/Banjo Kazooie have aged really well IMO. As for Blast Corps, critics complained it was too repetitive and short, which is crap. The amo...

Does it bother you if a game is "too short"?

This is a topic critics complain about all the time, and it's one that I've been intrigued with. I'm perfectly fine with a game being short (hell, almost every game from the 70s/80s is short) as long as it gives me a reason to keep coming back. Blast Corps, for example, is "short", but its...

Re: which version of chrono trigger should i get ?

If you have an iPhone and want to play Chrono Trigger on the go, I highly suggest the iOS version. The controls are astonishingly good, and the game uses the DS version's dialogue (which I consider far superior to the SNES version's dialogue). Only complaint is that the characters on the overworld l...

Top Gear Overdrive/Cruis'n World (N64)

Been playing these racers quite a lot recently. Top Gear Overdrive is a hidden gem. Granted, it's flawed, with extremely unforgiving collision detection and explosions that happen when you go over guard rails, but the game's arcade style stands out, with big air, shortcuts, and nice drifting control...

Blast Corps (N64): A

If you ever thought Rare was only about first person shooters and 3D platformers, you owe it to yourself to play Blast Corps. A truly one of a kind title, this game won me over from the very beginning, and I'm not sure any game has had as great of a first impression as it has. The game is simple; cl...

Re: Your Dream Game?

I don't usually demand sequels as much as new games, but in this case I want Blast Corps 2 (It's a crime that it hasn't even gotten released at this point) A new Rush game based on the classic late 90s games Ristar 2: A cameo in Sonic All Star Racers Transformed isn't going to cut it, Sega' A new fr...

Re: Top 50 Games Special in the works

Definitely at least 1-2 Sonic games, at least one Tony Hawk game, possibly Chrono Trigger? That's a start.
