Re: Best Sports Video Games of All Time!

Why did you include horse racing and auto racing, but no motor racing? (Not that I'm especially fond of that, I'm just wondering). And athletics? (Or does Track & Field does the deal for that?) And didn't you also review many skiing, snowboarding, skating, wrestling, swimming and chess games? Wh...

I like the small logo's with the reviews, but I think you have too many.

Re: 1984 in video games?

I don't agree. 1984 was an interesting year with the release of the Apple Macintosh. But also some classic video game franchises were released! But you have to extend your view to homecomputers, not just game consoles. Then you see classic games such as Marble Madess, Elite, Karateka, The Ancient Ar...

Super Mario Land (GB)

I just replayed Super Mario Land for original Game Boy on 3DS Virtual Console, and I forgot how much I liked this game! It's so easy accessible and charming it gave me a warm nostalgic feeling. (And it's very short so you can even finish it in one sitting). Anyone else has great memories of this game?

Re: What made you love video games?

Books and movies have always been a good way for me to emerge in another world and forget the 'sorrows' of the real one. Video games added another way to emerge in other worlds, but this time they were interactive!

I like that you re-review games, but when I read a re-review I always wonder what the original review was like... I'd to see some way to access the original review as well, just to see how your opinion has (or hasn't) shifted over time!

Re: Light gun games

I like playing games light gun games on the Wii, I love to use the remote control for it! For some reason however, I haven't used any light gun peripherals for the Wii. The Wii Zapper doesn't look real, but it's relatively big. But the Resident Evil Umbrella Wii Gun (& Knife) look more real. The...

Re: Zelda's Adventure (Philips CD-i)

I have this game (probably the most expensive game in my collection!) and I can't say I enjoy it. I even enjoyed the other two games, despite the horrible cutscenes, more. The thing I hate the most in this game is the loading between screens, which makes it a chore to play. Also, I missed a decent m...

Re: 2019/2/22: Sega CD: Crime Patrol, Iron Helix

You gave bad grades to Rebel Assault (Sega CD), Myst (Jaguar CD) and Iron Helix (Sega CD). I played those games on a Macintosh CD-ROM back in the days. I totally understand the bad grades - those games aged pretty badly. But you know what? I was really impressed with those games back in the days (I ...

Re: What’s the definitive Tetris game?

I really loved Tetris Max for the Macintosh, it plays excellent, looks nice and has some nice midi music samples. It's also available for Windows under the title Bricklayer.
