Re: So I'm not sure if my PS3 is dying

And it's alive! I think. Disassembled the whole unit, and as suspected the original thermal paste was just some dry flaky globs at this point. Cleaned off the ol' RSX and Cell with ethanol, applied some arctic silver and reassembled(with a couple of extra screws at the end, just like everything I've...

Re: Sonic Drift (Game Gear)

I played Sonic Drift 2 a lot back in the day and always liked it. You have to navigate with the map to have a chance, but I always thought it was a pretty good game.

Re: 2016/2/27: Genesis: Clue, Death and Return of Superman, The, Toy Story

Clue is my absolute favorite board game. I'm disappointed that this doesn't look like a good version of it. I might still pick it up just out of my love of Clue. After all, the biggest problem I have with it is finding someone else to play with me, so I may just be the target audience for this.

Re: Games everyone seems to like but you

There are lots of popular games that I don't care for, but the one game it seems like I should like but don't really is Mario 64. I admit maybe I just haven't given it a proper chance yet, but every time I start playing it I just don't seem to be having all that much fun. The camera is annoying to d...

Re: Blu Ray Sucks

I think this might be more a PS3 problem than blu ray one. Best bet is always use a player that isn't online capable. It wont have any of the new DRM features but the disc still pretty much has to play to avoid breaking the spec. Was you PS3 connected to the net at the time? Or did your offline PS3 ...

Re: Ad Blockers?

I adblock pretty much everything on the web. Ads are horrible, annoying, ineffective, misleading and insanely resource intensive. For the most part, I don't really feel bad because most sites I visit I don't even like very much and don't care if they disappear tomorrow. But I got videogamecritic.com...

Re: Basic Cell Phone Users?

Ha I don't even have a phone! Lol. I do have a Galaxy S4(just sold the S3) that I use at home with wifi but it isn't connected as a phone and doesn't leave the house. Use it for skype and a couple of IM apps to keep in touch. Truthfully, I liked the QWERTY phones more than the basic basic phones. My...

Re: Tales of Hardware Failures

The only reason I even purchased the PSP Go was to expand my collection, and even at that, I am astounded (not really) at how badly this thing is built. It doesn't even age well after years of not being used. There are dead pixels everywhere and the whole thing gets hot after ten minutes. That heat...

Re: Tales of Hardware Failures

First was my front loader NES probably about 20 years ago. The usual 72 pin connector problems. My launch day Dreamcast stopped reading discs in about 2002, I think. Replaced it with one that is still running fine but has developed an oddly dim video output that I can't seem to fix. Xbox 360 from Ja...

Re: Why I Think Sonic 3D Blast Is Underrated

I was thinking the same thing. I just replayed Sonic 3D Blast on my Saturn, and after beating it I'll go as far as saying it's a pretty good game. The music is awesome, the graphics are detailed and colorful, and the bonus stages are pretty fun. Of course it doesn't reach the levels of the original ...
