Re: Magnavox CD-i

I don't think so. It was still Phillips system. Magnavox was just another manufacturer of it.

After all it is still the Sega Genesis even though JVC and a couple of others made some compatible models.

Re: Fear Effect - PS1

Finally finished the game. For me it wound up being more of a C+ type game. I enjoyed the story and the art design, but there were just too many annoying things holding it back for me. I did get used to the controls more or less. It helped when I switched to my sixaxis*. But the game is too damn tou...

Fun Fact, even though PG13 movies make way more money than R rated Movies, but for Video Games, it is the opposite as their are more M rated games that sell more then T rated games, here is an example of this from this Forbes Article for Arkham Knight: http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2015/02...

Good post. I've considered getting one of those resurfacing machines. I always figure it could pay for itself pretty fast snatching up scratched CD bundles on ebay.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?

Not for Christmas but my birthday just passed. The wife bought me Silent Hill HD collection for the PS3. Yay.

I just ordered Silent Hill 2 for the Xbox on ebay.

Oh well. It'll be interesting to compare the two.

Isn't it the mark III you have? Then those games are the exact same as the Master System I believe.

Re: Worst Nintendo holiday lineup and pricing ever?

I have always hated Gamestop. Do they still put the disc into an opened case with their impossible to remove stickers when you buy a new game? Last time I bought a game from them it was like when Bioshock came out, and I got the whole spiel about how ifI didn't pre-order they didn't have any stock a...

Re: Is there any knowledge of the Sega CD myth?

That one is actually not that surprising. There was PS1 emulation on the Dreamcast while both systems were still alive. A pity Sony buried bleem with lawsuits.

Great list except one thing.

Fighters Megamix - Fighting Vipers vs Virtua Fighter plus a bunch of wacky extras. Loved this one back in the day.
