Thoughts on this folks?

It is lame. It is also inevitable with more advanced consoles/PCs. The only force that could counteract it is consumers giving a crap, and they totally don't.

Fascinating.

I'm very interested to see what comes of this, although I suspect the library might be a bit lacking. Any which way, SEGA!

Re: State of the Site Address 2016

If you're looking for suggestions, I'd love to see reviews of the portable systems, not just the games for them. Your system reviews, while outdated, are full of great info, and I'd appreciate your take on the portables, especially since I don't own any and am interested in getting one or two! I se...

Re: I just bought a Saturn and Dreamcast, advice?

Just get the Sega Smash Pack for the Dreamcast. It has a Virtua Cop 2, that is if you find the DC guns easier to track down.

If you only get one Panzer Dragoon game go for Zwei II, but they are both worth it imo.

Re: Is there any knowledge of the Sega CD myth?

There are a lot of emulators for the Dreamcast but I can't seem to Google up a Sega CD one. I did however stumble upon a freakin' Saturn emulator for the DC. I would never have thought such a thing was possible but it exists(games are not remotely playable tho)

You waited this long, might as well wait for the NX. When they start clearing stock on these, Ebay prices should come a bit down then.

Yeah, I wanted to not even add more but there's one thing I just can't let go...... Did you call Anakin a Mary Sue back in 1999? No, I had not heard of the term in 1999. I just said he was lame, overpowered and ridiculous. Are you sure that's not because there are serious problems with your reading ...

Some good evidence to back up your claim comes from our irmãos in Brazil, and across the pond where the SMS was more successful.

It's not unreasonable that she'd know a thing or two about their operation. She knows the Falcon because guess what? Her master Unkar Plutt is it's owner! She knows it well enough to know what an unreliable piece of "garbage" it is. She knew that Unkar Plutt had installed a compressor on ...

Re: 2015/12/26: Philips CD-i: Caesars World of Gambling, Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia

They are easy to mock now, but CD encyclopedias were super cool for nerds of the 90's. All that information, with pictures AND video! I'd spend hours on it. Of course, I was one of the only kids who would just thumb through the actual print encyclopedia for fun..... Parents always thought all that e...
