Sega Genesis Hard 'Drivin

Yes this is an old antiquated game. But I still luv it! Dave gave it a D- and that's probably what it deserves. But I just can't get enough of it. When I got my Genesis in '91 or '92 this game was ground breaking. The first to offer that first person experience in a driver's seat that was so much fu...

Re: Thinking of selling my NES Top Loader

You'll probably go back and forth on this for the rest of your life as I have when it comes to consoles. I say keep the top loader. You'll probably want that ones back and You spend $0.

Re: Movies/TV you've exposed your kids to.

My Twins are 16 now so they are older. Boy/Girl. When they were younger I introduced them to The Twilight Zone and they luv it to this day. My fave tv series of all time. It just doesn't get much better. Serling was a genius. Now that they are 16 I will watch a fair number of R rated films with them...

Re: 2016/2/4: Intellivision: Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Junior

I had an Atari 2600 with Donkey Kong and was disappointed, but as Dave said very playable. I had a friend with an Intellivision and he was like "What the hell is this"? That after he begged his parents to buy it for him. I remember it fondly as a kid because he said the INTV was better, an...

Re: What reviews do you get excited about?

I enjoy all the reviews. But like many others I am most interested in reviews from the 2600 to the PS1. The newer reviews are great but I really enjoy the retro stuff.

Re: Just got an Odyssey 2. Help Classic gamers!

Thanks Scotland your points are well taken, esp about the hookups needed for a clear picture. The multicart doesn't interest me (as you might have guessed) because I like playing them the way they were originally meant to be played. I will order those parts for a great signal, and even through the &...

Just got an Odyssey 2. Help Classic gamers!

Hi All, I just got an Odyssey 2 I ordered off Ebay. $60, not a bad score. I have two main questions. I remember my best friend throughout grade school and HS had an Odyssey 2 and I had so many great memories from playing that with him. Everyone else I knew had an Atari 2600 (like me) or an Intellivi...

Sega Genesis Outrun

I read the VGC's review of this and I had to get a copy. Outrun was one of my fave arcade games in the late 80's. I remember around 1990 or so I bought a copy for my Commodore 64. It was one of the best games on that old outdated computer, but it couldn't measure up to the arcade version, obviously....
