Re: AMC Fearfest

For some reason I'm drawn to the Friday the 13 and Halloween movies, while not liking horror movies in general. The Friday the 13th and Halloween movies may gives me nightmares, but I continue to watch. I can definitely understand not wanting to sit through the commercials, but watching it on tv can...

Re: Other game review sites suck

I know when I go to youtube to find a video review of, I usually look for a user review first. When I do happen to check out a video review from IGN, for example, I'm usually left with an unclear idea if the game is good or not. IGN and other video game sites seem to do a lot of "beating around...

Re: not well known 2d platformers on nintendo handhelds

Thanks guys. I've heard of ninja five-o, and yes, it is expensive. Here's a great example: I went to game craze looking for GBA games (overstock games are buy one, get TWO free, though they jack up the price. A loose Tony Hawk 4 for GBA goes for around 3 bucks according to video game price charts. I...

not well known 2d platformers on nintendo handhelds

I guess the title is a little wordy, but I'm looking for the 2d sidescrolling platform games that no one really talks about. I just randomly searched "hulk" and found out that the critic review the hulk on Nintendo DS, which looks right up my alley. I'm also looking at tarzan: return to th...

Re: What do you guys think of the 2DS?

There's something about it I like. I used to have one, and I loved the shoulder buttons. Perfectly curved to fit your index finger. Big and clicky too. The lack of 3d isn't a problem, how often would someone use 3d, anyway? Not as portable as the 3ds, but still a comfortable system to hold. I would ...

Re: NFL Season Opener Forum

I heard that Kevin Harlan bit on the herd with Colin Cowherd. Great stuff. Kristine lahey, the co-host, said the drunk fan had more rushing yards than the whole rams team! I was shocked to see the score the next morning; I don't know what I'm more surprised by, the Rams being shutout, or the 49ers s...

Re: 2016/9/13: Playstation 4: Madden NFL 17

I have madden 2005 and it is good. Judging by just the grades alone, it sounds like the early to mid 2000's madden games were well-made, as they get A's. It is pretty ironic, reading the critic's reviews, that with all the excitement surrounding new madden games, they just end up being rather meh......

Re: The changes in console gaming

I don't own either the ps4 or xbox one, so don't take my word for it, but these upgrades seem a little unnecessary. I'm just wondering how good can it possibly get? I also think sony and microsoft might risk alienating their customers. It won't matter to the people who always pay up for the latest a...

Re: NFL Season Opener Forum

I'm a Dolphins fan, and I'm hoping for a better season than years past. They've had a lot of talent, but just underachieve. Tough game week 1 though in Seattle. Going cross country, with a new coaching staff, against an elite defense in one of the loudest stadiums in the league. Good luck. Hopefully...

Re: Space or Dungeon: Which is the most common theme?

I'll have to look that one up. I know when AVGN did his intellivision/colecovision review, he commented on all the games that had space in the title. Space hawk, space armada, etc. Even some modern games have space in the title, like Looney tune space race and dead space. I voted space. Off the top ...
