Re: 2016/7/30: Wii U: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic

nice format of grouping reviews together. one set of review has a few games from this system, another set features another system. I've played some of the mario and sonic olympic games, and they can be pretty fun, though one I played back in '07 or '08 was frustrating. I know what to expect from Kir...

Re: PS1 Worlds Scariest Police Chases

I'm watching gameplay of this on youtube, and it looks solid. I love crazy taxi-style games, and this looks fun. I recently bought a game like this called Midtown madness 3 for original xbox.

Looks like it has a nice HUD of the map to look at as you drive. It's cheap on amazon too.

Re: Do you prefer playing newer or older games?

all I know is I played FIFA 2001 before bed last night, and the players zip around the field, making it more fun. I also wanted to point out, not necessarily about sports games, but remakes of old games (like I pointed out about NFL blitz,) you'd think the games would be better on a hot new console ...

Re: Do you prefer playing newer or older games?

Old games rule. It's funny how even updated remakes aren't necessarily better than the originals. I didn't even really want to play the 2012 downloadable NFL blitz, but I had credit leftover, so I figured why not. It's mildly entertaining, but it just makes you wish you were playing the original gam...

Re: Nice Email

I enjoy reading this site a lot. It has become a regular site I visit since I found it a few months ago. Even if there is a review for a game I'm not usually interested in, I still read it because there could be some funny stuff in it. I particularly like when you review games like Madden that have ...

Do you prefer playing newer or older games?

With older games, you have an pick-up-and-play factor that can't be matched. I think that really makes things easier from a gameplay perspective. With Newer games, there's a cinematic factor, but you have the risk of having games provide you with certain parts that are story driven, and don't offer ...

Re: Backwards Compatible Game by Game

good post. Backwards compatibility is important to me. It's interesting you say about the success of the ps3 and xbox 360 being abondoned when it comes to backwards compatibility on ps4 and xbox one. I don't know if that's true, but it's interesting. I would think they could have made it backwards c...

Re: Casual Friendly FPS?

I was going to say any of the time splitters games, but those are gamecube. I guess I have not really played a lot. I hear team fortress 2 could be one, which is on the orange box for ps3.

Re: 2016/4/24: Nintendo 64: Big Mountain 2000, Mickey's Speedway USA

Just finished unlocking most of the final tracks in mickey's speedway, and I definitely find it to be a hidden gem. I just love playing it, more so than mario kart or diddy kong racing! Speaking of Diddy kong, post people point to the fact that mickey's speedway usa was also made by rare, years afte...

Re: 2016/4/24: Nintendo 64: Big Mountain 2000, Mickey's Speedway USA

I was just playing mickey's speedway USA for n64, and I'd have to say that it is one of my favorites. Love the short tracks, which add to the charm of playing in a game with disney characters. You'll spin out if you hold your drift too long, which is too bad, but it's not a problem if you are good e...
