Re: Christmas Review Special

Die Hard is a hard sell but I'm thinking about it. Thanks for digging up the screenshot.

Okay so far I ordered Dead Rising 4 and the 8Bit NES Cart with the LED screen. That thing looks incredible.

Missile Command (Atari 2600)

Tried the Coleovision trak-ball controller with Atari 2600 Missile Command (using expansion module 1) and can't believe how well these work together. Scored 58,925 in variation 8B which is not too shabby.

And this was the original non-trak-ball-enabled version of Missile Command.

Re: Are Fishing Games Gambling

Interesting topic! This fishing game definitely straddles the line between video game and slot machine. The fact that you can win money makes all the difference. Ironically, if it just took your money there would be no controversy. I don't like gambling. They legalized it in MD and despite all the p...

Re: New thumbs up/down feature?

Oh yeah I forgot about it ruining society... About the "view comments" link, I could walk it back a bit, and instead of having it take you to the actual feedback page, it could take you to the search "results" showing you the most pertinent topic hits. This would require an extra...

Re: Christmas Review Special

I can't remember - did the game actually have Christmas decorations in them?
It's been a while since I played them. If so, I think you guys may be right!

Re: New thumbs up/down feature?

I just spent an hour or two trying to get the "go to feedback for this game" feature working, but no luck. What I did was try to insert of View Comments link under each review. This would kick off a search of the system and game, taking the first result and forwarding you to that topic. It...

Christmas Review Special

Nothing new in the holiday special yet, but you guys usually find me a new Christmas game to review.

NES Controller preference: Original or Dog Bone?

I think both the NES controller models are pretty comfortable, but I think I prefer the original rectangular version.. My 16-year-old nephew informed me the later, rounded versions were called "dog bones" by kids in-the-know! LOL Have you even heard that?? For shooters I love my NES Advant...

Re: PS2-Activision Anthology

Ahh Enduro! Seems like a good time of the year to pull that out, considering the variable weather conditions we have to deal with as the weather turns cold.
