2019/1/9: Playstation 4: Bloodborne (Alternate Review)

Here we have something new! In order to provide a different perspective I'm posting an alternative review (by DaHeckIsDat and the RPG Crew) right under my original review. That's fair right? Also, we get a second screenshot, which is nice. Although the author requested an RPG icon, I left it off, si...

Games to Play When You're Sick?

Home from work today sick. *sad face* Any recommendations of games that are good to play when sick?
I suspect ALL OF THEM is a valid answer, but wanted to throw it out there is case anyone has a more imaginative suggestion.

Re: Bad game names

While putting together my list I noticed there's a fine line between clever and stupid.
For example, these four might just quality for the BEST name list:

Communist Mutants from Space
Quest for the Shaven Yak Starring Ren and Stimpy
Zombie ate my neighbors
Spanky's Quest

I'm going to recommend Soul Blade for the PS1. I think it was the predecessor to Soul Calibur.

Re: 2019/1/3: Nintendo Switch: Slain: Back From Hell

First, I did mean to say Iron Maiden, and I fixed that.

Also, went back to check Slain to see if there was an option to use digital control.
Nope, because the directional pad selects your weapon.
The thing is, the right thumbstick already does that! Pretty bogus.

2019/1/6: Atari 2600: Missile Command, Walker (Europe)

I re-reviewed Missile Command, raising it from an A- to A. Walker is a new review.

Sacrilege. I am done coming to this site.

If it makes you feel better, I'm playing it using my Harmony Cart.
So I'm using the real system with a real controller!

Re: Good movies you’ve watched recently

Agree about Thor Ragnarok. I've pretty burnt out on superhero movies, but its irreverent, self-deprecating tone was a lot of fun. This one is definitely Blu-Ray worthy.

I didn't care as much for Infinity Wars, which I thought was too long.

Re: Two Lego games Removed from Digital Stores after Limited Time Offer

I think this digital rights stuff brings out the worst in publishers. They limit the licensing to a small period of time, and then probably try to barter with the stores for a lucrative extension. If they aren't happy with the terms, they just pull the game altogether. Imagine if this happened in th...

Re: Shocking Content?

Another thing I wonder about is that the review for Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles includes pictures of two controllers which look like a gun and knife. With so much media attention on weapons, could this be what Google has a problem with? I did notice that when looking for a screenshot for Dead ...
