This is jaw-dropping. I can't believe how great this looks. Can you imagine if we'd gotten that back in the day? It looks better than the freakin' COLECOVISION port!

Amazingly, this game was programmed using a tool called Batari BASIC.

ProTip: get a SNES Classic Mini (official emulation) and fill it with classic ROMs from your favorite systems. https://snesclassicmods.com/

Why not just get a Pi at that point?

Re: Return of Toejam and Earl?

Taking more time to play, and this is proving a worthwhile reboot. I can't believe how damn good this game is! Great way to kill an hour or two.

40 Winks N64 release.

https://venturebeat.com/2018/02/14/the-retrobeat-a-new-n64-cartridge-40-winks-wakes-up-after-a-long-slumber/ I'm honestly shocked. While a cool collectors piece maybe, this game was utter trash on the PS1. Was there really enough interest for this terrible platformer to justify bringing it out on th...

Did you download it? I didn't know it was already available.

Yeah, it's digital release is already out. Though, I do plan to get the Switch or perhaps PS4 version when those are available. This game, 8 days after release, is already in my top 10 favorite games of all time.

Re: Return of Toejam and Earl?

Gave it a go the other day. Finished building the ship for one go. And I'll be doing it again, single player, and multiplayer. This game really takes everything great about the original TJ&E and expands upon that. The art style isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and the controls are a...

Re: RIP Wii Shop Channel to end service on January 31, 2019!

A reminder that the shop will close next week! sad to see it go. I still have 1000 points that I need to spend, possibly on an n64 or wiiware game. I've heard maboshi's arcade is good. Trying to decide, but should probably go with a wiiware game that I won't be able to get after the shop closes . W...

Re: Album Sales Dying Fast

Sad thing, this is what contributes to the rising cost of concert ticket prices. Since people aren't buying albums, bands need to charge absurd amounts for their concert tickets now. This is why I can now only afford to see one big show a year, and see bands at smaller venues (like the Kix show I ju...
