Re: Books. Books? Books!

Do comic books count? They came up a lot in the old thread, so why not here? :) Has anyone read any of the Diskworld books? I've been thinking something humorous might be a good option as well. There are 40+ books in the series and I've yet to touch any of them. I read The Colour of Magic and Guard...

Re: 2020/4/30: Commodore 64: Aliens, Eliminator

These reviews have a surprising number of typos. I'm too tired right now to go through them all, but the most conspicuous for me is "Masters of the Lamp" in the Aliens review (the game is actually Master of the Lamps, which deserves a review itself).

Books. Books? Books!

I'm sure that I'm not the only person here who appreciates a good book, especially with all the time that people have to themselves right now. What's everybody reading? (I know that there's already a book thread, but it's a zombie that gets about two posts in a good year; I'm hoping that a new threa...

Re: Resident Evil Movies

If you'll pardon me for doing this outside a review thread, the word is "segue". The brand name "Segway" is a pun on it.

Re: Bad Console Design Page Revised

That silicone sleeve for the main Wiimote deserves mention itself. Invariably revolting whenever I was at a friend's house with one. (Minor note: The PS3 was the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market in 2006, but it wasn't the cheapest HD player; there were HD DVD players a hundred dollars cheaper.)

Re: Bad parts in good games?

The Neverhood has a puzzle that needs you to write down a looping sequence of symbols that appear on a screen, but the sequence picks up wherever you leave it, so watching any number of symbols except the exact length of the sequence will throw the whole thing off. It's a trivial issue to avoid on ...

Re: Divinity: Original Sin (PS4)

I was listening to The Adventure Zone the other day, and it got me wanting to play a game of D&D. Problem is, I'm a sad and lonely hermit with nobody to play with. There's a site called Roll20 that lets people easily run tabletop games online. I'm on a Discord server that frequently has D&D...
