I wouldn't worry about either, then. The complete packaging for Doom is enough evidence for me that it's legitimate, and nobody in their right mind would bother to counterfeit Turok 2.

Re: Good news for all those that hate Microtransactions/Loot Boxes.

It a good thing the US Government wants the awful Microtransactions/Loot Boxes banned One senator, not the government. With the state of corporate lobbying these days, it would be an uphill battle to get any regulation through, let alone an outright ban on sale to minors. I'm not holding my breath.

If there's a legitimate copy of AeroWings for the N64, it's worth a lot more than that. :P

(Which game were you thinking of? The closest title I found was the rather cheap AeroFighters: Assault.)

Re: 2019/5/10: Atari 2600: Spies in the Night

I think that the penalty for being shot – losing time – is enough. It's game over if you don't make it to the detonator in time, so it's appropriate that time is the main thing to worry about. Also, I'm pretty sure that those pixels on the sides of the spy's head are the brim of his hat, not his ears.

Re: Is it normal for a legitimate Nintendo cartridge to have the version numbers on the back spaced this far apart

I have no idea, but what makes me a little suspicious is the way that the bottom label is printed. The type is slightly thinner than the top label's. But I've never seen a European N64 cartridge personally, let alone owned one, so take this with a grain of salt – there could be any number of legitim...

I don't know why I didn't think to check the PS2 page.

Re: Split screen icon

Seems kinda redundant once you get past the 16-bit era. Pretty much any multiplayer game (except fighting games and whatever genre Mario Party started) from the mid-'90s until very recently is going to have it.

Any chance of a Space Channel 5 – Part 2 review? The Dreamcast version was only released in Japan, but it was released for the PS2 over here.

Re: No Game of Thrones games?

There was one. It's not supposed to be very good. There was also a Telltale adventure series like the one for The Walking Dead.

The Witcher was based on an unrelated Polish series of novels from the beginning.
