New Nintendo 3DS XL
I mean "New" 3DS?  Seriously?  Nintendo is truly out of ideas at this point.
Completely agree, have they learned nothing from the Wii U ? As Scotland alluded to there is a baffling array of Nintendo portables being sold presently. Unless your into Nintendo you wouldn'...

Are truely bad games a thing of the past?

I've thought this since probably the sixth generation, even the worse games are playable they are just dull and boring, rather than being broken or horrid. I would only apply this to console games, you can still get a lot of tosh on mobile and PC. Agree with Captain Crunch on the 'new' kind of bad. ...

The drawing/viewing distance on Hoverstrike is horrible as well, the Jaguar just wasn't great at 3D. But 2D games it probably isn't far behind the Saturn.

No love for the 32/64 bit generation?
Also, I was never bothered by games with low frame rates either. I always hear about how much it sucks, but I have a thing for early polygon games before things got too complicated. I've never played a game where I was like, oh man this sucks because of the frame rate.
Have t...

2015/3/18: Sega CD: ESPN National Hockey Night, Eternal Champions: Challenge From The Dark Side

I've got Eternal Champions somewhere don't think I've actually played it properly. Enjoyed the review and good to read some effort went into the CD version.

No love for the 32/64 bit generation?

I enjoy this era, once you adjust to the frame rates and cameras the magic does return. I'm a Saturn fan myself and still regularly play it, to be fair a lot of the Saturns output was arcade style games which tend to age better. The 2D games are awesome, third party developed 3D games not so much. R...

Atari Anthology (PS2)

Red Baron - It was fun for a while this one, kinda like Battlezone in the sky but without the strategy of that great title. Worth a play and always good for a quick blast. C+ Super Breakout - Surprisingly the controls weren't too bad at all, having got the Pong sensitivity to my liking it also saved...
