Sega's Depressing Legacy

Completely agree it's almost as if nothing after the MegaDrive/Genesis happened. 32x Chaotix - Ok not the greatest game, but surely should have been included in a Sonic compilation by now. Star Wars Arcade - A release with this and the Sega Star Wars trilogy arcade game would be awesome ! Virtua Rac...

2015/1/21: Atari 7800: Astro Blaster, K.C. Munchkin

It's always difficult to be critical of Homebrew titles, not unlike the PD/Shareware flood on the ST and Amiga. I personally try and give them an easier time because they are essentially hobbyists creating the games. Perhaps (not sure if this is feasible) have a separate section purely for Homebrews...

Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion Games

I played the Master System games growing up (Castle and Land of Illusion) both are top tier games and ones I will revisit. I've recently acquired Mickey Mania for the Mega Drive but have not played it yet. As a slight aside I can also remember playing a Mickey Mouse game an my Atari ST, it was very ...

Got an iPad

I've said it before but iOS/android is a match made in heaven for JRPG's, point and click adventures and traditional FMV games like Dragon's Lair. Arcade style give them a wide berth but for those 3 genres in particular it works outstandingly well.

Online Gaming with 90s Consoles

My PS3 was the first console I played online with, but like you I would love to hear about older systems and their online experiences.

Top 10 Favorite Mario Platformers Of All Time- 2015 Addition

Ermm I'm one of those who isn't a big fan of Mario, that's not to say I haven't played and enjoyed some of his titles though. Super Mario Land 2 - Game Boy: This blew me away back in the day, I couldn't believe what my GB was producing! This was a console quality title both audio visually and in siz...

New ZX Spectrum to be released April

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sinclair-zx-spectrum-vega#description Sorry I don't think it will have the classic 9-pin port, probably USB. This is something I don't really need as I have two original Spectrums and load games from an iPod. However I will still buy one to show backing to the proj...

New ZX Spectrum to be released April

http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-30810148 I know the guys over the pond probably won't be as excited about this as us Brits, but the nations favourite micro computer is making a come back. It's also being manufactured in my home county of Nottinghamshire! Working similar to the rec...
