Re: Games so bad you have to shut it off

Beetlejuice for the NES. I did manage to play through it the first time I sat down to play it. But subsequent attempts to do so have always ended in me turning the thing off. Just a very messy and sloppily executed game all around. The sad thing about it, is that this could have been a really good g...

Re: Atari Loot Box at Target

Not bad. Would have liked to see 'em throw a game in there as well though. Maybe next time....

Re: Games so bad you have to shut it off

There's been a few games that were so bad that I literally had to physically restrain myself from hitting the off switch on and throwing said game out a window. But one game in particular that comes to mind that I could never sit down and play through because of it's inherent terribleness was Wayne ...

Re: New Atari 2600 game Astronomer?

I just downloaded the ROM for this game., but it's BIN file and I've no idea how to open it. Does anybody know how to open one of these? And if so, could you please tell me how to do so? This game seems very interesting, and I'd like to give it a go. Thanks.

Hmmm... Sounds very interesting. Hopefully, it gets done soon

Re: 7800 homebrews?

My fave 7800 game is Ms. Pac-Man. Which I also think is by far and away the best home version of the game ever released. Yes, it looks a little blocky. But it looks very similar to the srcade version. And it also plays and controls really well, which are all things that can't be said of the versions...

Re: Praise for Desert Falcon

I have the 2600 version, and I put in infinite hours playing it back in the day. Obviously, it's one of those games that just has not aged well in the slightest, and it has some really wonky play mechanics. But I do remember having fun with it as I would try to beat my high scores..

Re: Keystone Kapers II Proto

Of course, it's impossible to determine whether or not this would have been a worthy sequel to a really good game. But going by the video of the tech demo of the game posted on You Tube, it looked very promising. It's such a shame that it was never finished or released worldwide...

Re: Favorite Albums of the 90s

A few of my faves with a thought or two on each one: Metallica- "Metallica" (aka "The Black Album") The album that got me into the heavier side of metal. Slayer "Seasons in the Abyss" Their last truly great album. Don't get me wrong, they put out some good stuff afterwa...
