Re: Old Handhelds

I didn't have a lot of handheld games growing up. But one that I have fond memories of was a Star Wars type game in which you held the game up to your eyes like a pair of binoculars and played it by pushing the buttons that were located on top of the game. It was pretty simple and straightforward st...

Re: Late review- MK1 Genesis

I had this game for the Genesis and utilized both the 3 button and 6 button controller. I only briefly used the 3 button controller because had I not switched controllers my parents may have inquired as to why I was so frequently needing rides to buy new controllers (or why there were so many dents...

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis)

I loved this game as a kid. And so did my sister. I can remember the two of us playing the two player split screen option for hours on end, laughing our butts off the whole time. Great times for sure.

"Damage Inc." off Metallica's Master of Puppets "Coma" off Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion 1 "Hallowed be Thy Name" from Iron Maiden's The Number of The Beast "Planet Caravan" from Pantera's Far Beyond Driven. It's a very well done and faithful cover of the Sab...

Re: Worst Songs From Your Favorite Bands?

It's never easy to slag these bands, but here goes nothin' Black Sabbath's "Breakout" off the Never Say Die album. Horns on a sabbath song???? No thanks, guys. No wonder Ozzy refused to lay down vocals on this one. This one should have never made it out of the rehearsal studio, much less a...

Re: Favorite Guitarists?

There's far too many guitar players to mention here. But here are a few of my faves that have given me years of enjoyment from listening to them do their thing on the good ol' six string: Metal 1) James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett 2) Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman 3) Dimebag Darrell 4) Gary Holt 5) Zakk...

Re: Favorite Guitarists?

Larry LaLonde: Sure, you could say his guitar work is basically atonal texturing for Les Claypool's bass work, but it's awesome texturing nonetheless. You want to know what I find amazing about Larry LaLonde? Before he joined Primus he played in Possessed, a death metal band. And in Blind Illusion, ...
