Sega Multi-Mega (CDX)
I finally got a second-handed Sega Multi-Mega (or CD-X as it is known it the US). First time I own a device I can play Sega CD games on!

However, the CD-drive is so slow it almost seems broken. Some games have to load forever, other do not load at all. What could be the proble...

The 3DS Zelda remakes are nice, but...

In all honesty, I somehow find it hard to enjoy those old remakes of 3D Zelda games... I prefer the 2D games. The 3D remake games always feel a little aged to me...

Sega's Depressing Legacy
Apparently, Sega is going to focus on digital games (smartphone & PC online):
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-01-30-sega-to-offer-300-voluntary-retirement-as-part-of-focus-on-smartphone-and-pc-online-gaming

As a console gamer that kind of makes me sad... what d...

Gunman Clive 2 (3DS)
I just finished this game with all four characters - after playing it almost 2-days non-stop, it's that good. If you love 2D platformers, this one comes recommended. Most fun I had on my 3DS since Shovel Knight. Like the VGC, I was never fond of indie and download-only games,...

Top 25 Multiplayer Games of All Time

I'd like to nominate

- Sensible Soccer
- FIFA
- Sega Worldwide Soccer

And, besides the soccer games:

- Portal 2 (OK, only 2-player)
- Streets of Rage 2 (OK, only 2-player)
- Gears of War (online)
- Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament
- Pe...

Sega's Depressing Legacy
I agree Sega has some great legacy titles (especially Streets of Rage, but also some lesser-known titles as Baku Baku and Toejam & Earl) that deserve a reboot. Also, a decent DreamCast collection would be welcome, because the 'Dreamcast Collection' for X...

Best Download-Only Games

We all know the VGC isn't fond of download-only titles, so to change his mind, let's list the best download-only games you played! I'll start:

1) Shovel Knight (3DS)
2) Bastion (Xbox 360)
3) Double Dragon Neon (Xbox 360)

First person shooter roundup

Of that list I only played Wolfenstein: The New Order (on Xbox 360) and I thought it was alright. The story was so-so, but I t...

Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion Games
Recently I have (re)playing some of the Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion Games. I wonder if any of you share my thoughts:

Castle of Illusion (Sega Genesis, 1990)
I still find this a charming, little game. The levels are short (and so is the game), but t...

Top 10 Favorite Mario Platformers Of All Time- 2015 Addition

Oddly, my favorite will always be the original Super Mario Bros. (1) on NES. Secondly, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES) was amazing.
