Re: Box stickers: On or off?

I was going thru a lot of my old game boxes looking for stickers and found about 20 good candidates. Maybe I'll put something together. Please put something together! I'm all about leaving the stickers on my vintage games. I have games from department stores that went out of business forever ago, a...

Re: Extreme Metal

I have to suggest the band Extol to you guys. Their self titled album from 2013 is one of my all time favorites. It's different in the best way possible in that I can't quite explain their sound. It's a mix of thrash, and death metal with harmonies you simply don't hear in those genres. The first on...

Re: Pointless Design Features?

I owned a Virtual Boy back in the day. The battery pack seemed pointless and went completely unused. The setup of the system certainly wasn't portable. Also the extension port that never served a purpose..maybe if the system lived a longer life we might've seen that used but with all the games that ...

Re: Your top 10 cartoons of all time

Honorable Mentions: Pro Stars, M.A.S.K., The Super Mario Super Show, Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers, Muppet Babies, and Freakazoid. I wonder if my folks still have some of those old tapes I recorded stashed away in their attic... Solid choices Matchstick! I should have listed The Super Mario Super Sh...

Re: Your top 10 cartoons of all time

I love cartoons! This list was really hard for me to put together and I know i'm leaving out a ton of choices. Really great choices so far though guys! Here is what I'm going with at the moment: 1.) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - This was my childhood. I couldn't wait for the next episode and probab...

I'll second the birds teleporting into the round in Joust!

Strong vote also goes to the sound of collecting coins in Super Mario Bros.

Re: Remembering the mostly forgettable average games. (Or at least trying to.)

I absolutely love Dark Chambers on the Atari 2600 and 7800 consoles. I have fond memories of playing the game with my sister and various friends over the years. The fond memories are more of the hanging out and having conversations (sometimes we'd even listen to various albums) while playing Dark Ch...

The Mandalorian

Anybody else watching The Mandalorian? So far there are just two episodes (I believe new episodes are dropping on Friday's maybe?) and I've managed to watch both twice already. I haven't been a fan of the newer Star Wars films so I was pleasantly surprised that I actually am digging it so far. Anyon...
