Re: The trash that is on Amazon Prime

I haven't seen Contamination yet and really need to check that one out. If you finish watching Space Amoeba I'm hoping you share your final thoughts on the film! I thought it looked like a winner in the "so bad its good" category, but that was based on seeing the trailer for the film. Glad...

Re: The trash that is on Amazon Prime

Luigi Cozzi did in fact have a funky style! I own the Hercules movies he did and while I enjoy them, Starcrash is still my favorite film of his. My favorite part in the first Hercules movie is the fight between Herc and the bear. Full of stock footage and it has an epic fight finale that cracks me u...

Re: The trash that is on Amazon Prime

Thanks for the suggestions pacman000! I'll have to look into those. While I consider myself a fan of B-movies I'm sure there are tons of films I'm missing out on since I'm unaware of them etc. Here are some of my favorites just in case you might have a movie suggestion or two to throw out there ;) :...

Re: Framemeister

Just paid 39,310 Yen for this bad boy. Should arrive next week with expedited shipping. Can't wait! Really hoping you enjoy it (sounds expensive!) and also hoping you provide a review once you use this thing for awhile. I'm sticking to using a CRT for my retro gaming but am curious about what I wou...

Re: Pick only one console per generation.

Easy rule of thumb: if an add-on contributes a new CPU (used for something other than pure I/O control), it's a separate platform. If it doesn't, it's just a peripheral for the base system. That makes the Sega CD and 32X systems that should be considered separately from their host platforms, wherea...

Re: Pick only one console per generation.

4th Generation: Sega CD. Plays every Genesis game, and it's own library of exclusives, at least 20% of which aren't horrible GIFs of bad actors blown up to pixels the size of bricks. But I'll miss Super Metroid. Wasn't the Sega CD more of an attachment than an actual console? You needed to purchase...

Re: Pick only one console per generation.

Here are my selections if I had to pick one console per generation. Some of the choices were incredibly hard for me but I ended up selecting the ones I'd personally spent the most time with: 1st: Atari Stunt Cycle 2nd: Atari 2600 3rd: NES 4th: Sega Genesis 5th: Playstation 6th: Dreamcast 7th: Xbox 3...
