Re: Atari Box update

How is somebody supposed to play modern type games with only one button? Maybe a resurgence of "point-and-click" adventures? I think the Ataribox supposedly has USB ports for it's controller inputs so I'd imagine it could take advantage of controllers with more buttons. I think we s...

Re: Best snow levels?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles II: The Arcade Game on the NES. Pretty sure the snow level was not in the arcade original and was added for the NES port. Loved it!

Re: North and South

I absolutely LOVE North and South on the NES. I had no clue that there was a recent remake. Looking at the reviews on Steam it seams it's a bit lacking and took quite a thrashing from fans of the original. I'm debating waiting for this latest version to go on sale before throwing money at it or buyi...

Re: A game I can "sink my teeth into"

I'm going to second the suggestion of Red Dead Redemption. I sank so much time into this game and there was so much there to come back to. Absolutely fantastic choice

Re: Wrestling Game Reviews by Rockofhysteria

Completely agree with your review of Tecmo World Wrestling. I used to rent that one from the local grocery store almost every week (the good old days...). What a great game! I second the suggestion to review Fire Pro Wrestling games. Fair warning to those that have not tried them but they do have a ...

Re: Red Tails.

I saw Red Tails in the theater. While i wouldn't call it a great movie I wouldn't call it a "turkey". The movie was enjoyable enough that I didn't regret seeing it (or spending my money on tickets) so there is that. I'd watch it again. I think your hatred from the film comes from you preco...

Re: What is your Holy Grail?

my personal holy grail item is a Game Previewer by Imagic. It's a tabletop kiosk of sorts for stores selling Atari 2600 games. You can see an add for it here: http://www.atarimania.com/pubs/hi_res/imagic_game_previewer_ad.jpg I love Imagic games on the 2600 and would love to fill this thing with the...

Re: Receipts tucked into games

I purchased a large lot of atari 8-bit computer items off of craigslist this year and it came with a folder full of receipts for all the hardware and software that had been purchased. Also included in the folder were letters from various software companies and brochures for items i believe he had on...

Re: Best and worst sports consoles

"I can't think of one enjoyable sports game on that system (the 2600)" Awww... I kinda like Realsports Football and Baseball. Also Mini Golf and Bowling. Then again I'm not really a sports fan... Going to add a few more that I believe are really worth checking out on the 2600: California ...
