User Voting Online!

Critic, besides starting the site in the first place, this might be the most genius idea on here since.

The only downside, of course, is now all the Mario fans are going to vandalize your extremely well-reasoned Super Mario 64 review by making it an A for the user score....

<br...

What FMV 'Interactive Movies' would you have in your Sega Mega CD Collection ?
I think Road Avenger, Night Trap, and Time Gal are typically the quintessential FMV games for the Sega CD. They are all "okay" but if you are a fan of FMV games then these are probably the best of the best. Road Avenger is at least interesting and Night Trap is kind of like watching a bad...

2014/10/29: Commodore 64: Friday the 13th

Looks interesting. I just mentioned the Friday the 13th game on the NES in the Halloween topic in the Classic Gaming section. It was the first game I ever remember that actually "scared" me when I was a kid, with its creepy vibe and ability to make me jump out of my seat from unexpected ...

What are the best retro Halloween games?

I am going to go for [Atari 2600] Haunted House. It was the first survival horror game.
Hey, wasn't there an Haunted House game for the original Odyssey way back in '72/'73 ? That my friend could be the fi...

2014/10/28: NES: Monster Party, Shadowgate

I always mix up Shadowgate and Shadowrun. Back when they came out with Shadowrun on Xbox 360, I heard that it was from the same series as a much older game. So, for the longest time, I would see Shadowgate in game stores and confuse it as being that "older game". If I recall, the g...

Experimenting with ads

I'm totally fine with them. I don't think they're that bad at all. As long as they're generating revenue and the daily website visits aren't dropping, then there's no reason not to use them. I'd hope that people realize that this website takes a massive amount of work...

2014/10/7: Super Nintendo: Super Chase H.Q., Jungle Book, The, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble

Was DKC 3 a re-review? I thought for sure that you reviewed all 3 of the SNES DKC games at one point not too long ago.

Also, thanks for introducing me to the Chase HQ series. I gotta try it, but where do I start? How would you rank the three you've already reviewed?

Nintendo 64 Top Labels Review

Very cool concept. I'm with Rev though. I know if I was collecting N64 games, I wouldn't consider buying a cartridge with these end labels on it, because it's not natural or "pure". It's a blemish from a collector's perspective, especially if there's any residue after removal. &nbs...

2014/10/11: Wii: Goosebumps Horrorland, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

Goosebumps, who knew! I wasn't aware that such a game even existed, and I'm pleasantly surprised to see that it's at least halfway decent. But I'm even more surprised that it was even made... While some things from my generation still have appeal today (Ninja Turtles being a prime exampl...

Favorite Review from this site?

It's too tough to remember all of them, but Monkeyshines is my favorite in recent memory, having been reviewed back in February I think. I've never played the game and I'm not a big Odyssey fan, so it had to be a good review for me to take note of it.

The best part of this topic, th...
