Re: What Makes a Good RPG?

First I'd say a sense of wonder. The best way to accomplish that is through music and graphical tone. Secondly, make me feel for the characters. Easier said than done.

Re: Just how bad are the Star Wars prequels?

I think there were some good stories in the prequels. However, the wooden acting in front of the blue screens is what did it in. Also, they probably should have skipped the events in Episode 1 and just concentrated on adult Anakin. More Grievous and Maul!

Sega making some moves. Subscription service?

I'll let this guy do most of the talking, but apparently Sega is making some moves and getting ready to make a huge comeback. One of their new initiatives is "Sega Forever" which looks to be a subscription service to allow people to play Sega's old IPs on various devices (including SMS and...

Re: The Price of Old Video Games

Prices for Nintendo games are more overinflated than other games. Your're right that Atari games have risen too, but it's been very slowly. My advice is to avoid the Nintendo ones and enjoy the other systems. Eventually prices will come crashing down.

Re: 2017/5/11: Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Bomberman R

I bought Bomberman on launch day and I agree with what you said and the grade. It's really hard to tell if you are lined up with certain objects, which is a BIG deal in a Bomberman game since you are setting off explosives. It should not have been an isometric view; instead it should have been overh...

Re: "Mostly Gone" Genres

How about the Brick and Paddle games like Breakout? It seems to have been a dead category for a while.

I have a feeling that every genre we are mentioning probably has a presence in the Indy scene, or at least in the downloadable phone game scene.

Re: Best Buy ticket system?

I've waited in line at many of these ticket events. You most likely you got there after they handed the tickets out. The ticket system is the best way to go about it, because without them people turn into animals and try to jump in front of you. I've seen it happen. With tickets you know you are ent...

Re: Nintendo SNES Mini Classic

I have doubts about the sources. Besides, it doesn't make sense to replace one hot selling product with another. If I'm wrong, you can all laugh at me as I have no way of removing this post. :)
