Future of Consoles

Funny thing being mentioned a lot in other threads is time to play. This generation of consoles and handhelds look very impressive but what happens when gamers run out of time to play? Is it really a great time for gamers when you have so much selection but no time? What good is having it all and no...

2015/2/11: Sega CD: Wolfchild, Jaguar XJ220, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Never played Wolfchild. Looks like a decent game. I still remember a friend renting Jaguar XJ220. It seemed like a neat game at first but after a few plays it became tedious.

Reviews Too Hard To Read?

I prefer the longer reviews as well. I also enjoy seeing writing in print but maybe others are uncomfortable with all the reading. If that is the case maybe the VGC should just make videos for each game instead.

Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day Games?

Popeye catching floating hearts is the first game that comes to mind. Tapper would be a good St. Patrick's Day game. LOL

Remembering the Xbox

Xbox is classic gaming? Yeah, I will agree the Xbox has some games that are classic.

I have one set up in my son's room. We have a Wii and Xbox 360 hooked to another television. They hardly get played anymore. My son wanted an Xbox One so I hooked the original Xbox up for him. The or...

3D Limo Parking Simulation game

Didn't they do this for the Dreamcast. Except it was with a bus? Sounds like a fun idea but like 18 Wheeler it gets old fast. Maybe expansions or a cross country race like the Cannonball run would be creative ideas to expand game play.

What systems and how about a game trading blog on VGC?

The 8-bit Home Computer Users Thread

The Commodore 64 had some excellent RPG games. There were several Dungeons & Dragons games. You could build your characters up and transfer them to the next game. Thankfully Buck Rodgers Countdown to Doomsday was ported to the Sega Genesis with about ever thing intact gameplay wise. On the C64 I...

2015/1/21: Atari 7800: Astro Blaster, K.C. Munchkin

I like the idea for the Easter Egg. I must be in the minority but I remember being able to change direction at any time. I regularly play KC Munchkin using OEM and it allows quick direction change as well.
