"Batman" (NES) re-evaluation?

One of the first games I bought for my NES and was not disappointed. I think it was the box artwork that drove my purchase of Batman.

2014/12/26: Sega CD: Demolition Man, Wirehead

Good to see a couple of Sega CD reviews. I've not played either title so I can sit on the fence and be an innocent bystander.

But, your Wirehead review did not surprise me. It seemed to be on par with your other FMV game reviews.

Whether I agree or disagree, you always give a ...

Why Didn't The NES Version Of Donkey Kong Have All Four Levels?

I have wondered also. Donkey Kong Junior and Popeye seemed complete games. It would have made sense to release an update later when Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Pac-Mania were coming out. Why Nintendo Why?

Paperboy 2 (SNES)

I thought this was a decent game and much better then the N64 version. The first Paperboy on the Genesis is still my favorite.

When was the last time you bought a game without knowing anything about it?

Every Nintendo NES game! I did not have Nintendo Power and rentals had not hit my town. But by the time the Genesis came out I had better knowledge. Thanks Sega Visions and Gamepro! Oka...

Unreleased Games You Wanted to Play

I always wanted to play Socks the Cat. I still vividly remember the ads and mock screenshots in GamePro magazine. Then President Clinton probably put a stop it. It was about his cat, right?

Also Fido Dido and Primal Rage 2.

Tomodachi Life

This should have been released years ago. Better late then never. Glad to see Nintendo taking chances again.

The King of [insert game here]

I am more the court jester of gaming then the King. I have a friend who was amazing at Krull, the arcade not the 2600 version. He also always managed to pull off onside kicks on Joe Montana Football for the Sega Genesis. Thankfully Madden 92 came out shortly after.

I have heard the Game C...

2014/3/4: Commodore 64: Elite, Winter Games

Two very good reviews. I have a softer spot for Winter Games and would bump it up a letter grade. An A- if you add more then two human players.

Radio Shack Disappearing

Sad sign of the times. The prices were high the last time I was in one. Bought an Xbox controller from one years ago. That thing was junk. So have we failed Radio Shack in not buying or has Radio Shack failed us with sub-par items over the years. As kids, I remember calling the TRS-80 the ...
