Re: 2019/2/20: Playstation 4: Soul Calibur VI

Fabulous review. The last one I really liked was on the dreamcast. There they knocked it out of the park. All of the rest of them have been underwhelming. I am not into fighting games any more. They seem so 90s now and so dated. Your review reflects this. Why is this the case? Surely the original B...

Re: Worst Pain You Ever Felt

I slipped off the bunk beds when I was a kid and jammed a bit of the bed frame up my rear. The pain was the worst I felt. Not vid game related but there it is.
I did not try walking on the frame ever again.

Re: 2019/2/17: 3DO: Crime Patrol

Crime Patrol was made by American Laser games. They were a great fun company. I am sure they did those duffers the mad dog macree series. Classically bad games that I loved!

Thanks for this review again. Really I missed these games so much.

Re: 2019/2/13: Atari 2600: Battlezone, Enduro

I loved the home port of Battlezone as a kid. The yellow tanks that appeared as I got deeper into the game always scared my young, emotional mind. Lots of 2600 games had that effect on me. The snakes in Pitfall and Otto from Berserk being two other major ones that had an effect on me. Fab thanks fo...

Re: 2019/2/10: Xbox 360: Ski-Doo Snowmobile Challenge

I had never heard of it but your review makes it sound absolutely outstanding. I will have to see if it got a Euro release. I have had a look. US release only. I can get it for £160 pounds. That is about £155 more than I was thinking I would pay for it.

Re: 2019/2/7: Atari XEGS: Chop Suey, Mouse Quest

Thanks I had Chop Suey on the Atari 800Xl. You make some good points about it. It is obviously inspired by Karate Champ. Also given the limitations of the hardware I would think it would be possible to say it is the finest fighting game on the XE. It was published by English Software. They produced ...

Re: 2019/2/5: Nintendo Switch: Namco Museum Arcade_Pak, Toki

Thanks for the reviews. I remember Toki vaguely. I remember it being fun. It is a shame to read about not having all the goodies of the ps1 releases. Namco could fit their entire back catalogue onto one cartridge. In some ways I am not surprised. Look at the shambles that was arcade pack on the xbox...

Re: 2019/2/2: GameCube: Pro Rally 2002, Tube Slider

On a side note, is it just me or did the Wii almost eclipse the GameCube out of history? I feel like it's mentioned less often that any other mainstream console of recent memory... I would have to disagree. I've been seeing GameCube nostalgia everywhere over the past few years. Whether it's in Nint...

Re: Xbox One down on Wednesday

I was playing with my xbox 1 on Wednesday, Thursday and did not notice anything unusual. As to security. Most cameras and the like have a default password of password. Some of those defaults cannot be changed by the user. It is down to poor manufacturing. Though I had to laugh at Christmas in Europe...
