Re: PlayStation 4.5 Neo

I think I may be opening a can of worms by saying, this only strengthens the argument that gaming PC's are a step above in terms of sheer power that doesn't need yearly tweaks. Need being the keyword.

Oh well.

Re: Nathan Drake and the Bad Review

I'm not one to throw metaphors around but Sony Ponies are taking the stand of worst gaming community right now. Of course gamer's in general are being put out to look like hypocritical glass cannons that spark off at the slightest disagreement, so this debacle projects that stereotype. People need t...

Re: WiiU as modern Atari 7800

I'd say it's a cross between the 7800 andthe original Wii all over again.

Otherwise I agree.

Re: Nintendo NX - What Are Your Thoughts?

I think if Nintendo are going to brag about specs then they already forgot what lane they are in at the console race. They aren't direct competitors anymore; their public attitude about this needs to reflect that. If this lone wolf approach means anything, who cares if it's more powerful than the PS...

Re: The Deal with Sewers

Sewers are often an opportunity to add an edgier, if not often filler element to games. The Nineties personified this making glorified sewers humongous mazes with terrible graphical distinction between areas. Speaking of sewers, didn't the Sewer Level music in Crash Bandicoot 2 sound a lot like some...

Re: The Animation Lovers Thread

Gravity Falls was actually decent, after seeing a few bits and pieces. I'm also glad to hear it wasn't stretched past a certain point, pretty much two seasons and a season-long series finale. Samurai Jack could have had a better deal if it went like this.

Re: 2016/4/12: Xbox: Worms 3D, Worms Forts Under Siege

Considering how poorly the last few Worms games have been graded its surprising that the Critic wants to keep reviewing them. Glutton for punishment? Dave puts any bias aside to collect games, often it's easier to religiously collect video games than scour through the ones you don't care about. He ...

Re: Analog NT: The Ultimate NES!

Holy Simon Belmont, for $500 it better deliver the absolute Cadillac of NES experiences, and even then, that's too much. I feel like the only reason this is five hundred dollars is purely Meme-Status (IE Hip Youth Credentials). If the NES's popularity with collectors declined, it'd probably run for...

Re: Coleco Chameleon

It's sad. I mean, the Arduboy KickStarter had a sour decline but even that is starting to pick back up, people are giving good reports about the Arduby they had received, and the final product looks so much better. I might give the Arduboy Game Card another chance, though it's still ridiculous to de...

Re: Ownership isn't what it used to be

Probably will continue that notification if they want physical copies to sell at all, I know those who've gone full digital for their music, e-books, and audio books but keep their physical PS2 and Xbox copies. Digital is still being pushed and even forced, but an iota of preservation is still there.
