Re: New Xbox One games to review?

Track Mania Turbo isn't an exclusive, but it is a fun game. I've got it for the Xbone. Can probably pick it up for 30 bucks or less.

Re: C64 mini

It does have USB ports for controllers. You could use a different one.

I also saw that it can use a USB keyboard to access the built-in BASIC programming language, which is kind of cool.

Yes, they are two of the old ones. Are those no longer able to be used?

Well, maybe it's time for some "nouveau evolution"...? Stay tuned!

Glorious spring

The winter doldrums are behind us (at least hopefully!) in the Carolinas. First firepit of spring tonight (along with celebratory gin and tonics...) Any thoughts about the coming warmth...less gaming? More outdoorish activities? Gardening? Camping? Kayaking? I likes my vidjagames...but warmer climes...

Re: Huge Atari Boxes

I never understood why the older Atari 8-bit boxes were so large. To better differentiate them from the "lesser" 2600 games? Maybe to have enough space (width) inside for 5.25" floppies, and still have some "crush space" on either side? Though I don't remember ever getting a...

Dave,

Have you tried loading any ROMs onto an SD card and popping it in the back?

Not sure how that would work. Wii was able to do light gun games pretty well because of the sensor bar near the TV. Switch doesn't have a sensor bar, does it?

Or perhaps teaming up with Nintendo for another F-Zero ?

Yes, yes and/or yes. Probably never see a new Ridge Racer, either.

Shame that "90s Arcade Racer" ended up being a total Kickstarter dud...

Re: How is Your original Xbox and PS2 Hooked Up?

I've got one of my PS2s hooked-up via an HDMI adapter. Here's a link to the forum post about it (and Wii and DC VGA/HDMI adapters.) http://videogamecritic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=134793&t=14601 PS2 stuff is on page 2. There are also component-to-HDMI adapters available from Amazon, I believe.

Gentlegamer, did you ever try the PSTV whitelist hack? Has anyone here tried to softmod a PSTV to play all Vita games?
