Re: Any good Sega games for PS3 ?

Valkyria Chronicles comes highly recommended by a number of my friends. The Yakuza series, Alien: Isolation, and Alpha Protocol are also classic.

Re: Favorite Album Closers of All Time?

"Cosmia" from Joanna Newsom's Ys, which is also my favorite album of all time.

Lost Odyssey (Xbox 360)

I'd like Lost Odyssey to be the next RPG I review, but due to feedback I'll probably end up doing a bad game first. It's just hard to devote a lot of time to a bad game, but I'll gladly take one for the team :). Bad reviews are the most fun to read anyway. Anyway, on to Lost Odyssey. I was beginning...

Tomb Raider 2013 had an "M" rating as well. I'm not sure why that would affect sales.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII Discussion ***SPOILERS***

There was another thread of discussion brought up which I'd like to talk about--Force Awakens alluding to ANH to such a degree that it borders on plagiarism. I retort that ANH's allusive structure is a deliberate artistic choice, one that evolves from not only the content of Star Wars' history, but ...

Didn't mean to suggest closing the thread--just ending the debate about Rey's character being a "Mary Sue" protagonist.

Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One)

Tomb Raider (2013) was pretty violent too though. Remember napalm arrows? I don't remember there being much profanity though.

I'll probably pick up this sequel on PC when it releases later this month.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII Discussion ***SPOILERS***

I think we can go ahead and close the book on this debate as I think everyone's had a chance to say their piece. Thanks all for responding thoughtfully and respectfully. Shapur, I'm sorry for coming off as accusatory. I studied gender studies as part of my lit major in college so it's a topic I resp...

Re: Star Wars Episode VII Discussion ***SPOILERS***

I'll let this be my closing arguments in order to avoid having this thread spin off any more than it already has (for which I accept the blame). Scotland-- with all due respect, neither you nor anyone else has ever called a male character a "Mary Sue." For that reason alone, it is a ridicu...
